A Masterclass in Spicy Fae Romance!
S.D. Huston’s writing makes this story completely come alive. It is brilliant, to say the least!
Viper & the Wood Warder opens after a young woman, Morenya, steals a powerful relic. The king wants her to use it to destroy the Wood Fae, but instead, she flees into the safest place she can find: the enchanted forest. There, she runs straight into Orran, a powerful Wood Fae Warder. Orran immediately captures her, firmly believing humans are a lethal danger to the very trees he has spent his life protecting.
The elemental magic in this book is incredibly vivid. I absolutely loved the symbiotic connection between Orran and the forest. When the ancient roots intertwine with his power, the prose becomes electric and alive! The writing perfectly blends a fiercely protective, dangerous hero with a glowing, magically awakened world that shimmers right off the page.
