My Review:

I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Faith is a 23 year old woman who has just found out that she is a witch and that she also just happens to be the last witch of her kind. If there had been other witches then she would probably have found out sooner that she was a witch. She had to be awakened by someone in order to ever know that she is a witch. But once she is awakened she has to be trained on how to use her powers and also how to do spells.

One night Faith and a friend go out for a little fun at a bar. Faith sees a man there that she can't seem to keep her eyes off of. This man feels someone watching him and when he turns around he is looking Faith dead in the eyes. They both feel the attraction for each other right away. Bam it is like they can hardly stay away from each other. Trent for whatever reason that he can't put his finger on feels very protected of Faith. His feelings for Faith are so strong that he is so afraid that someone is going to hurt her and he can't stand it. Faith finds out that her new friend is a vampire and has a lot of secrets.

Faith also meets another guy that seems to be attracted to her as well. This guy just happens to be a werewolf. Vampires and werewolves can't stand each other. But Faith's knew friends both try very hard to get along for Faith's sake even though they are both jealous of each other. But her werewolf friend sort of backs off trying to win her heart because he can tell that Trent and Faith have become an item.

The werewolf and the vampire both need each other and have to try and get along with each other because someone has stolen both of their gems. The vampires have a very special gem and so do the werewolves. They need each other's help to find out who took the gems and to get them back before it is too late and the person who stole them do something that could turn out to be very dangerous for both of them.

Faith has met Trent at a very good time in her life because after finding out that she is a witch she has had some trouble with someone that really meant a lot to her and she can't figure out why this person is acting the she is towards her. Faith has not done anything to have caused this person to be so mean to her. Not only is this one person after her there are others as well that is after Faith and want to kill her.

I have really and truly loved reading Vampyre Kisses because the vampires are just a little bit different than other vampires that I have read about. I can't wait to read the next book Werewolf Descent. I would like to know how or if Faith will carry on with her bloodline. Will she be the last witch of her kind or will she find a way to have a child?

If you like reading about witches, vampires, werewolves and other paranormal creatures then I believe that you would love reading Vampyre Kisses. I highly recommend Vampyre Kisses to all and any age group, young and old alike. Of course we are only old in age not mind or spirit.
