SOULMATE REGISTRY — CASE FILE #10

Three wolves. Three women who've forgotten they have them. Three mate bonds that can't ignite until the wolves remember.

The Fairy Godmother Rosalind would like you to know: this is not her fault.

Magrita crashed a heritage steam locomotive into a station platform while fleeing a centipede. She didn't expect the furious Alpha with golden eyes to be her fated mate—or for the wine fraud she's investigating to be the least buried secret in the valley.

Sable was cleaning windows on the forty-fifth floor when her mother's pendant fell through an Alpha CEO's balcony door. She didn't expect the mate bond to hit like lightning—or for a gala, a dance, and a single lost boot to change everything she believed about herself.

Monday collided her pizza delivery bike into an Alpha outside a pet shop. She didn't expect her wolf to wake up screaming after a decade of silence—or for her real name to be the key to a power that everyone thought was extinct.

The Soulmate Registry has been engineering "accidents" for centuries. But their newest field operative, Fable, works in the Recollection Vault—where buried memories go when they're too dangerous to forget and too important to leave alone.

Love isn't quiet. Love is a possum who rates your emotional state using wine terminology, a guinea pig whose safety briefings involve an anxious penguin named Gerald, and another guinea pig who will scream about pizza crust IN ALL CAPS and then name his firstborn after you.

Love is a memory that refuses to stay buried.

Three fated mates. Three forgotten wolves. Three guaranteed happy endings.

Memories Into Love is a book in The Soulmate Registry Collection—wolf shifter romances with fairy tale heat, talking animal sidekicks, and love that always wins.

My Review:

HOW TO WRECK A TRAIN AND WIN A MATE features Magrita Voss, a wolf shifter and insurance investigator, along with Dom, an Alpha who manages a vineyard, and Merlot Beauregard Pinot-Rothschild the Third, a brushtail possum who serves as Magrita’s chatty animal companion. Merlot boasts a Level 3 Sommelier certification and a WSET Diploma with Distinction, having been published in Wine Spectator and Decanter. He travels in Magrita’s messenger bag like a furry, opinionated flask. This tale recounts how they discovered their one true mate.

Magrita is dispatched to a historic railway station in the Australian wine region to investigate fraudulent claims at a vineyard. Upon her arrival, she is intrigued by a train that has been stationary for ages. In her eagerness, she accidentally starts the train and causes it to crash, putting her in debt for a substantial amount.

She encounters Dom, an alpha wolf who owns the vineyard under investigation. The moment they meet, their wolves awaken and take notice of one another. Magrita has been repressing her wolf side for many years and has likely forgotten she has a wolf lineage, as it has been so long since she last shifted.

Dom is in town to see his ill father, knowing time is short, and it also happens to be his mother’s birthday. He hopes to bring his dad joy one last time by claiming Magrita as his mate.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey of Magrita, Dom, and Merlot, and I eagerly anticipate reading the next installment in Memories Into Love to discover what unfolds and to delve deeper into each character's story and their connections.

WOLF ON THE FORTY-FIFTH FLOOR features Sable, a rebellious wolf who works as a window cleaner and has a fear of heights, with a wolf spirit buried so deep within her that it has forgotten its own howl. Kaeden Hawke is an alpha CEO who experiences Sable crashing through his window while meeting her gaze. Accompanying Sable is Safety Marshall Sterling, a brown guinea pig, who serves as her talking animal companion.

Sable finds herself suspended forty-five floors above the ground, diligently washing windows. Did I mention her fear of heights? While she hangs there, the chain on her necklace snaps, causing the pendant to bounce into the office below. Since the necklace belonged to her mother, Sable instinctively entered the office to retrieve it.

As she does so, Kaeden Hawke, the office owner, walks in, awakening Sable’s wolf, which has been suppressed for quite some time. The moment their wolves become aware of one another, they begin to shout "mine, mine, mine" repeatedly. This was not supposed to happen, especially since she had taken her suppressants that morning.

Kaeden has an important meeting to attend, so he instructs Sable to stay and look for her pendant. However, Sable recognizes a voice from Kaeden's meeting that triggers memories from her past, prompting her to race down forty-five flights of stairs to the exit.

What is Sable truly afraid of? What is she fleeing from? Is it her past that haunts her, or perhaps her future? A future that includes Kaeden, perhaps? The tension intensified, keeping me captivated with every word as I eagerly awaited answers to all my questions.

THE ALPHA’S SCARLET WOLF centers around a wolf shifter who goes by the name Monday, though she doesn’t know her true identity and hasn’t seen her wolf in a decade. Roy Silverstone, an alpha CEO, and Pepperoni, Monday’s chatty animal companion and a three-time champion coach of the Regional Underground Pizza Box Relay Championship, also play significant roles, along with Buttercup, Roy’s guinea pig.

One early morning, while Monday and Pepperoni are out delivering pizza, she accidentally collides with a man exiting a pet shop. The first thing Monday does is demand payment for the fries that are now scattered all over Roy.

I can imagine that Roy will be discovering fries on himself for days to come. LOL! As soon as Monday and Roy bump into each other, their wolves start howling, mate, mate, mate, or something similar. What an interesting way to kick off a relationship!

However, it’s not just Monday and Roy’s wolves that noticed each other that day. Pepperoni and Buttercup also seem to have a little chemistry brewing between them.

What is the story behind Monday? What is her real name? Will she ever uncover her true self? Where did she originate? Was she abandoned as a baby because she wasn’t wanted, or was it done to protect her? If so, protect her from what or whom? There are so many questions that can only be explored by diving into Monday’s journey in Memories Into Love.

Memories Into Love narrates the tale of three women who have kept their wolves at bay for years, along with their talking animal friends, only to encounter three striking alphas. These three enchanting stories are bound to touch your heart from the very first page.

I strongly encourage you to dive into Memories Into Love today!
