October is just an ordinary girl. A plain Jane really
with no friends to speak of. No one ever notices her when she walks down the
halls at school or when she walks down the street. She is invisible to the
outside world that she lives in. In just a few short days October it will be
her birthday and she will be eighteen years old. A big day in a girl’s life
right? For October it is just another day; another day closer to graduation and
college which is her way out of her home town.
A lot happens to October in these few short days before
her birthday. She gets this really big itch that goes deep into her body all
the way to the bone and it ends up running over her whole body and that is how
she meets this really good looking guy in the hall while she is scratching her
back against the wall. Great way to meet a guy October. Yeah plain old October meets not only one guy
but two guys right before her big day.
Oh and October also finds out that she is a princess heir
to the throne in two different kingdoms, the Fairy kingdom and the Troll
kingdom. She is Destined to be their next Queen. But becoming Queen is not as
simple as it looks because October has a little competition. Her competition
wants to be Queen so bad that she will use and destroy anyone who gets in her
way. But then October will do whatever she has to to keep all these people safe
not matter what it cost her.
Who will become the next Queen? Will it be October? Will
it be her opponent? What will October have to do to save the two kingdoms from
this evil person? Can she save the fairies? Can she save the trolls?
When I came across Extraordinary October I thought I just
have to read this as my birthday is in October and my Moms is today October
7 and then I read the summary and
I thought fairies oh yeah sign me up. I couldn’t wait to read about a girl
named October and fairies. I am so glad I did! Extraordinary October is filled
with so many twist and turns along with action and mystery not to mention the excitement
that will keep on your toes right up until the end. I just loved the world that
the author created for October and all of her magical abilities. If you have
not already then I would like to suggest that you pick up your copy today and
get started on an amazing journey, one that will have you flinging through the
pages in no time.
Author Bio:
I have always written and always wanted to be a writer, but didn’t think I could make a living at it. So I became a mime. (You can imagine what my father had to say about that.) I worked on the streets of NYC with two partners, stopping traffic in front of the Met and annoying tourists. When, to my great surprise, that didn’t work out, I returned to school in film–thinking screenwriters made a living. And when I had ten scripts and my agent had stopped returning my calls, I wrote a novel. I did it just because I wanted to love writing again and not think about selling or casting or marketability. That novel was Skin Deep, and it’s a testament to writing from your heart that the first person to read it, bought it. I’ve been trying to write from the heart ever since.
