Synopsis:

#WhatADick

Vaughn Asher. I've stalked him relentlessly. I shaped and formed my lust into the perfect dirty hashtag…day after day… weekend after weekend. He was my prince. My fairy tale. My fantasy.

I gave him the best years of my online life and what did he do for me?

Ruined my social media experience one tweet at a time. That's what.

#Fantastic #BackToNatureFucking
#MissingSomething #You

And now #TheDickWhoIsVaughnAsher thinks he can weasel his way back into this filthy blue bird's Twitter account? He's wrong.

His public fantasy is about to collide… ah, fuck it. He's hot as hell, bitches. I need more than a free sample. This time I want it all. And I'll do whatever it takes to get it.

Excerpt:

My tablet dings with an incoming third-party Twitter notification.

@FilthyBlueBird has unfollowed you.

I laugh. "Oh, Grace, Grace, Grace. You think you can slip me that easily?"

Grace @FilthyBlueBird - 1s
OMG, I have a stalker! What do I do, #BlueBirds?

You'd think a woman using Twitter this regularly for a few years would understand how it all works. I can still see her tweets when she unfollows me. I have to stop and laugh a little.

MovieStar @VaughnAsher - 30s
@FilthyBlueBird Who is this stalker? I will set him straight.

And then the usual happens. Within minutes, there are dozens of @replies. Mostly from her girlfriends on the Dirty Heaven list, the #BlueBirds. But some random stalkerish fans of my own are in there too.

@VaughnAsher is @FilthyBlueBird your GF?
@VaughnAsher if you're the stalker, you can stalk me any time!
@VaughnAsher who is @FilthyBlueBird? Can I be your blue bird?

They get worse from there. Invitations to fuck them. Sit on my face. #SOHF is a code word for that on Twitter. @FilthyBlueBird uses that one a lot. And I've got to admit, that's something I'd like to imagine. More than imagine, actually. I'd like to lick that sweet little pussy until she's dripping down my chin.

Fuck. I'm horny. I reach for my phone and press Grace's number in my contacts. She picks up on the first ring.

"What the hell are you doing?" she growls at me.

"You left so suddenly, Grace. I didn't have a chance to-"

"Get off my Twitter feed, Asher. Now!"

I chuckle. It's one of those full-of-myself chuckles I do when my power is looming over people. "Now whyever would I do that, Miss Kinsella?"

"Because, Vaughn, I'm just a girl from Denver who has absolutely no interest in signing your contract. It was a fun fling, but it's over now. So leave me alone and stop stalking me on Twitter! My friends are all going to see-" She's interrupted by a continuous litany of pinging from my tablet and I admit, at this point in the conversation, I've got a hand over my mouth to stop the laughing. She screams on the other end of the line.

I can see why. She just got bombarded with tweets asking about me.

"Oh my God. What do I tell them? What the hell am I going to tell them?" She screams again. "Fuck! Bebe just found out, thanks a lot! I never told her about you, now she's going to know I was with you on the island."

"So?"

"So? Jesus, have you no sympathy for me at all? She's my best friend and I lied to her! I fucked a goddamned movie star and I didn't tell her! How can you-"

"Grace?"

"-be so fucking cold, you jerk!"

"Grace?"

"Oh. My. God. Do you hear that? That's her now! She's calling on the other line!"

"Answer it, I'll wait."

"Answer it? No! I'm-"

"Grace?"

"What?"

"I'll tell them all it was a lie if…"

"If what?" she growls at me through the phone.

"If you have phone sex with me, right now."

Book Blitz: Vision By Lisa Amowitz @lisa_amowitz @NereydaG1003 #giveaway

Vision
Release Date: 09/09/14
Spencer Hill Press

Summary from Goodreads:
The light is darker than you think…

High school student Bobby Pendell already has his hands full-he works almost every night to support his disabled-vet father and gifted little brother. Then he meets the beautiful new girl in town, who just happens to be his boss's daughter. Bobby has rules about that kind of thing. Nothing matters more than keeping his job.

When Bobby starts to get blinding migraines that come with scary, violent hallucinations, his livelihood is on the line. Soon, he must face the stunning possibility that the visions of murder are actually real. With his world going dark, Bobby is set on the trail of the serial killer terrorizing his small town. With everyone else convinced he's the prime suspect, Bobby realizes that he, or the girl he loves, might be killer's next victim.

Excerpt:
Suddenly, the café had become suffocating and Bobby felt the urge to run. Anywhere. But he wasn't ready to go hanging around the laundromat and increase his odds of running into Gabe. Instead, he took a huge bite of sandwich to keep himself from blurting something rude.

Dana pulled the newspaper toward her, a cascade of stringy hair hanging in her face. Between the strands, Bobby could see her pouty lips move as she read. "My cousin Rosemarie knows this girl," she said finally, her gaze still trained on the article. "And now the State Police have pulled Daddy into the case…whoops!" Dana clamped a hand to her mouth. "I shouldn't have said that. Daddy told me never to talk about official police business."

Bobby leaned forward, angling the paper so he could look at it again. "Why? Is it a murder investigation now?"

"Let it go, Sherlock." Coco said. "She said she can't talk about it."

Bobby rolled his eyes. "Figures. The one time Dana Barclay has something to say, she's under a gag order."

Dana's eyes flashed to his, something cold and sharp behind the softness, like a needle tucked inside a cotton ball. "Why are you so interested, Bobby?"

"Why not? Nothing ever happens in Graxton."

"You think a girl disappearing is cool?" Dana stared at him, the corners of her mouth tugged downward. It was a known fact that her father, Sheriff Barclay, hated Bobby's dad. Chuck Barclay and Sam Pendell had been bitter rivals in high school, a feud that continued into their adult years. Somehow, Dad had always managed to keep a step ahead-until he landed in a wheelchair. Hate like that, Bobby thought, doesn't just go away. It goes underground and festers, eventually seeping into everything.

Dana stood abruptly. "I have to go. Daddy's picking me up in five. Movie night in Kingston."

"Have fun," Bobby said under his breath. Dana glared at him, face flushed, nostrils flared.

After Dana had left, Coco drummed his fingers on the tabletop. "What the hell was that? I know you two aren't best friends, but can you at least try to be civil?"

"Sorry. I don't know what's got into me today."

Coco frowned. "You sure you're feeling okay? You look pale, like the skin on your ugly mug is pulled too tight around your skull."

Bobby cleared his throat and wondered if the day's strains showed that clearly on his face. "I'm fine. I was just curious, is all. It's weird, isn't it, that they're keeping it all hush-hush? I wonder what's really going on."

Coco slanted his head, still gazing at Bobby with his piercing stare. Bobby knew the prospect of a riddle would be too tempting for his friend to pass up. But just why he was so curious, Bobby couldn't begin to explain.

"I can ask him for you, if you like," Coco said. "Barclay's always tripping over himself to be nice to me. I'll just kind of mention that Dana is upset by the whole thing. See if he bites and throws me some inside info."

"No! I mean, never mind. I just thought, if you'd heard chatter…"

"So now I'm Homeland Security." The glint in Coco's eye was back and Bobby knew he was forgiven. Coco never stayed mad long.

Bobby threw a piece of lettuce at Coco's head. A crust of bread sailed back at him. Pete started barking and then Aaron rushed over, picked up a napkin and put it over Coco's eyes, yelling, "Pirate attack!"

Bobby laughed hard as the memory of their years of zaniness washed over him in a warm wave. He joined Aaron in the attack, and helped pull Coco from the chair to the floor. Pete got busy licking everyone, the three of them wrestling and laughing on the floor like puppies.

Jerry's voice cut through the mayhem. "Excuse me, boys. We seem to have another customer."

From the tangle of bodies, Bobby looked up. Arms folded, Gabe stood smirking from the doorway. In the confusion, he hadn't heard the jangle of the door opening. "Looks like fun. Mind if I join in?"

Coco was on his feet in an instant and, smoothing his rumpled clothes, lunged toward her in a few long-legged strides.

"Welcome! Can I get you anything, madam?" He pulled out a chair at the nearest table and gestured toward it. "Please, have a seat! I'm Coco, otherwise known as James Woods, no relation to the actor of the same name."

Gabe giggled. "Nice to meet you. I'm Gabriella. But call me Gabe." Bobby sighed. It was no contest. He could never outshine Coco when it came to charm. In this case, maybe that was a good thing.

Sky's End
by Lesley Young

Blurb:

A secret she must never share. A secret that two warring species are determined to control. A universe's future at stake.

Twenty-year-old Cassiel Winters joins Earth's new space academy in hopes of finding her brother, one of Command's top pilots and her only family, who's been reported MIA. But she quickly realizes she may not be cut out for life in space, where female cadets are outnumbered, competition's fierce, and she's already failed her hand-to-hand combat test once.

Even the station's most respected officer, Lt. Damian King, probably can't help Cassiel pass the second time around - so why is he so interested in her progress? If only one of her freaky de?ja? vu visions would offer an answer instead of mysterious messages like hide.

When Cassiel's manipulated into a perilous mission, she encounters a warrior species bred to protect the universe from an even greater threat. And she learns that her secret visions are at the heart of it all.

Now Cassiel must fight to control her own destiny and race to save her brother - even if it means pretending to be the pawn of Prime Or'ic, the cold-as-steel Thell'eon leader. Even if it means risking her life, facing hard truths, and making the ultimate sacrifice.

Excerpt:

I pry open an eyelid. Onegin's killing me. Thanks to his restlessness after my 'dream,' I slept horrible. He was in and out of his downcore. Pacing. Mumbling to himself. I guess that's how mad men sleep.

Come on, be positive. You get to fly today. Nope. No nerves. No excitement. Nothing. I head to the privy and put on the one outfit that's somewhat modest, a shirt that sits just above my navel and a long skirt with slits that I keep meaning to sew shut. Onegin seems especially agitated when I emerge. He tells my new aide to hurry through the door. When we leave my space, he grabs my arm, hard, dragging me with him.

"Ouch! Onegin, you're hurting me. I can walk myself!"

He's mumbling something about it being the right thing, his duty. What the hell? I let him manhandle me because I need to pay attention to the route to the hangar bay.

I smell the man sweat, hear the sounds of combat, and my stomach flips. I don't want to pass by the arena, let alone witness Lor being abused. I try to stare straight ahead, but I can't because Onegin's dragging me right into the arena.

That's when alarm bells start going off. "Onegin! What are you doing? Let me go!" Dozens of Thell'eons are already practicing in those barbed razor rings and in incredibly intricate obstacle courses. Some are sprinting, others wrestling. A few take notice, since at this point I'm shouting wildly at Onegin.

I look around desperate for another Kir. "Prime Or'ic!" I yell, relieved when I spot him fighting with Kell'an. They pause to take in the commotion. They're breathing heavy and drenched in sweat. The weapons they're using, whips that fire things, settle on the ground near their feet like pet snakes.

I expect Or'ic to be alarmed that Onegin has brought me here. I relax, confident that he will reprimand Onegin like he usually does. But, after a brief, blank stare, he turns back to spar with Kell'an again. My heart sinks. Onegin, not pausing once to check with his Prime, is hauling me toward an empty ring.

Holy stars!

Thell'eons spread apart to let him pass. Some keep watching instead of going back to their fighting.

I'm in real trouble. Yup. No doubt about it.

What can I say to stop him? Do something! My brain's screaming this, but my mind's coming up empty.

Onegin jumps up on the ledge, hauls me up with one arm, and tosses me easily over the barbed razors, like a bloody ball. I land hard on all fours.

I'm in a ring. In a ring. Oh, this is real bad. "Fight!" shouts Onegin, who's stalking me in rapid half- circles. I lean back on my ankles, crouched. I can't believe this is happening. Why's he doing this? Now, now I regret saving his stupid dumb-ass life.

I remember the look in his eyes as he watched that Aeon shake the crap out of me, frozen in time, helpless to help me. And last night, after my nightmare, staring down on me, angst-ridden, confused.

But . . . why would he want to hurt me? Is he ashamed that I saved him? Is this punishment?

No. Or'ic said he's indebted. He was mumbling something about duty.

Holy stars. He wants to show me how to fight.

"Onegin! I already know how to fight!" I shout at him, deciding I can reason my way out of this.
