Blurb:

Vivienne Blackwell ran Crescent Moon Estate like a kingdom. Magnificent. Ruthless. Impossible to leave without her permission. Permission denied.

Izzy Harper came to choose the wine. Vivienne chose everything else.

By morning, Vivienne was dead in her sunroom, tea still warm in her hand. No phone signal. No car. No way out.

Shadows have been following Izzy since she came to Windmere Cove. At Blackwell Estate, they finally caught up.

Noodle led her to the ransacked room. The safe was empty. The room wasn't. Someone in this estate had been waiting for this.

Now a killer is somewhere inside these walls. And Izzy is the only one asking the right questions.

She isn't just solving a murder. She's locked inside one.

My Review:

Izzy, Noodle, Ro, Max, and Marcus are gathered at the Crescent Moon Estate, managed by Vivienne Blackwell, for a tasting ceremony in honor of Amina and Harrison’s wedding, which they have been contracted to cater. Following the tasting, Vivienne insists that Izzy remain overnight so they can discuss everything in detail the next morning.

The following morning, Izzy discovers Vivienne lifeless in her sunroom, her morning tea still warm in her hands. The estate is expansive, with potential suspects including the deceased’s daughter and son, as well as the estate staff.

Izzy and Noodle spring into action, utilizing their investigative skills to uncover who might have wished harm upon Vivienne. As they delve deeper into the case, an abundance of secrets and unexpected twists emerge. Just when you think you have unraveled the mystery, the story takes an unsettling twist, forcing you to reevaluate everything you believed to be true.

The enigma and the echoes of the past kept me riveted in my seat, pondering how everything was connected. I found myself questioning how elements from Izzy’s previous cases related to Vivienne’s demise.

I eagerly anticipate diving into more of the Windmere Cozy Mystery series to discover where Izzy and Noodle’s adventures will lead them next.

Don’t miss out on grabbing a copy of Murder at Blackwell Estate today for another thrilling mystery to unravel.

Book Blitz: Trust Issues by Rick Durfee @RABTBookTours

Why Traditional Estate Planning Has Failed Us and What To Do About It

Nonfiction, Self-Help

Date Published: December 9, 2025

Publisher: Elite Online Publishing

What do the ultra-wealthy know about protecting their fortunes that most people never learn?

In Trust Issues, veteran estate planning attorney Rick Durfee pulls back the curtain on the legal tools and legacy strategies the affluent quietly use to safeguard their assets, slash taxes, and keep wealth in the family for generations, with control, clarity, and confidence.

This isn’t theory. It’s a field-tested playbook built from decades of helping high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and family offices create dynasty plans that actually work in the real world.

Whether you're a successful entrepreneur, investor, or professional advisor, you’ll discover how to:

      • Use trusts to avoid probate and dictate how wealth is used, even long after you’re gone.
      • Set up business entities (like LLCs and FLPs) that shield assets from lawsuits and creditors.
      • Build a dynasty trust designed to preserve family wealth for 100+ years.
      • Legally minimize estate and gift taxes.
      • Sidestep the most common (and costly) estate planning mistakes.
      • Empower your children and grandchildren with wealth, without fueling entitlement or dependency.

Durfee’s approach is ethical, practical, and grounded in a simple belief: wealth should serve your family’s deepest values, not just their lifestyle.

If you’re serious about protecting what you’ve built, Trust Issues is your roadmap to a lasting legacy, on your terms.

Book Blitz: The Art of War by Shuai-jan Change @RABTBookTours

Rewritten and Modernized for Psychological Combat

Self-help, Psychology

Date Published: April 9, 2026

Manipulation has become a method of warfare. Gaslighting, triangulation, and psychological pressure are now tools of control. This book teaches how to recognize them and remain composed under attack. Written in the style of Sun Tzu’s original work, this book carries the discipline of ancient strategy into the unseen arena of psychological conflict. War has changed its form, not its nature. It no longer arrives only with force, but with influence, distortion, and control. Shuai-jan Change preserves the structure of the original Art of War while directing its essence toward these modern forms of conflict. This work is grounded in lived experience as well as study. Having endured emotional and psychological abuse, the author chose not to be defined by it. Through discipline and deliberate effort, that experience was transformed into survivorship and self-command. Strategy is not used to dominate, but to prevent defeat before it occurs. The aim is to recognize manipulation without surrendering principle, and to maintain control where others seek to take it. This is not a book of open war. It is a practical guide for those who encounter manipulation without warning and intend to remain steady, aware, and unbroken.

The Art of War: Two Traditions: The Original Text by Sun Tzu and a Modern Rendering for Psychological Combat

Manipulation has become a method of warfare. Gaslighting, triangulation, and psychological pressure are now tools of control. This volume teaches how to recognize them and remain composed under attack. This edition presents The Art of War in two forms. The first is the original text attributed to Sun Tzu, translated by Lionel Giles and preserved in its classical structure. The second is a modern rendering by Shuai-jan Change, written in the same disciplined style and directed toward the realities of contemporary psychological conflict. War has changed its form, not its nature. It no longer arrives only with force, but with influence, distortion, and control. These days, the adversary advances with toxic thinking, employing tactics such as gaslighting, triangulation, love bombing, character assassination, and calculated victimhood. The modern rendering is grounded in lived experience as well as study. Having endured emotional and psychological abuse, the author chose not to be defined by it. Through discipline and deliberate effort, that experience was transformed into survivorship and self-command. Across both works, the principles of strategy remain constant, but the terrain has shifted. The structure is preserved. The discipline remains. The interpretation adapts. These are not books of aggression. They are studies in recognition, restraint, and self-command. To understand strategy in one age is to recognize it in all others.

About the Author

My name is Shuai-jan Change. I am the author of The Art of War: Rewritten and Modernized for Psychological Combat, a contemporary rendering of Sun Tzu’s classic focused on the unseen arenas of manipulation, coercion, and mental conflict.

Drawing from the style and structure of the original text, this work reframes ancient strategies for use in modern environments, where conflict unfolds not only through open confrontation but through distortion, pressure, and control of perception. This work is not written from theory alone. It is informed by lived experience. Having endured psychological and emotional abuse, I undertook a process of inner discipline to avoid adopting the same patterns of distortion, blame, and control. The objective was not to remain a victim; it was to avoid becoming what was opposed, to establish self-command, and to transform victimhood into survivorship. These writings are intended for those who seek to maintain composure under pressure, recognize manipulative tactics, and preserve their peace of mind without surrendering principle. The objective is not domination, but self-command. My literary work centers on psychological combat as it unfolds across professional, personal, and digital arenas, offering a disciplined approach to strategy, boundaries, and internal stability in an age of dysfunction and constant chaos.

Book Blitz + #Giveaway: Arranged Marriage to a K-Pop Idol by Bianca Rowena @BiancaRowena @XpressoTours

Arranged Marriage to a K-Pop Idol
Bianca Rowena
Publication date: April 28th 2026
Genres: Dystopian, Romance, Young Adult

He who controls the media, controls the world.

In a world where a young woman only has two choices, marry by age 18 and procreate naturally, or be thrown into a fertility prison, AnAn finds herself in an arranged marriage to K-Pop Idol Taejung, who is running from the paparazzi and his government.

Can Taejung and AnAn stop the One World Nation’s plot to use K-pop concerts and fans, to win the world election, or will Taejung be pulled back into the K-pop world he left behind, and AnAn lose her first love?

Goodreads / Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Kobo

EXCERPT:

Taejung studied her silently from his corner of the room and AnAn’s face flushed. She looked away, but her eyes kept returning to him even as the Building Families Official continued to talk. He looked like he’d just walked off the set of a Hear4U music video.

“AnAn, let me be direct,” the Official said. “Your arrangement to Taylor here is a unique situation. Building Families is expanding its repopulation efforts, globally.” The lady gave her a forced smile.

AnAn’s reporter instincts told her this was far from the truth. Taejung didn’t look like he even wanted to be here, let alone volunteer to repopulate the West, with her.

Author Bio:

Bianca Rowena was born in Romania, Transylvania and has enjoyed writing from a young age. She now lives in Canada, which is the setting and inspiration for her novels. Bianca studied Cinema/Television/Stage/Radio at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Blurb:

A fictional story with a memoir overlay as narrator Katie Blake reflects on life in small town America and the principles, influences, and big personalities she wants you to never forget.

It’s Memorial Day weekend, 2009, and the town gossips have their shorts in a twist about a mysterious newcomer who wears tie-dye, colorful headbands, clunky necklaces, and rings on every finger.“Who installs a ceiling fan on a Victorian porch?” cries Ned Boomer, Woodburg’s grumpiest man, and the town gossips concur, “She must be a hippie, witch, or maybe worse . . . a socialist.”

Hell-bent on preventing a neighborhood blow-up, precocious, nine-year-old Katie Blake launches a covert investigation to gather the truth about the enigmatic Rose. But when she discovers a decades-old secret binding her, Rose, and bad-tempered Ned Boomer, her world takes a turn.

Penning a memoir sixteen years later, Katie is forced to reconsider whether the real proof of love was in preventing a neighborhood war or finding friendship and comfort among three unlikely grief-stricken souls who should never be forgotten.

Gram taught me to be independent, manage my anxieties, and have confidence in myself, showing me how to use my imagination to wiggle out of a jam or face the “grim crossroads” when confused or sad.

The first time I cried and lost it over a complicated computer problem, she said, “Be inventive, Katie! What can you do to calm down and think things through?”

We put our heads together to come up with ideas. Gram said she brewed herself a cup of tea when needing a break. Mom worked on crossword puzzles. Dad played solitaire. My one decadent delight was a FatBoy ice cream, and that’s how Gram and I hatched the plan of taking two ice cream sandwiches and hiding them under the frozen vegetables to create my private emergency stash.

“Close your eyes, breathe, take a bite, and replace the leftovers. No one will suspect anything. Our little secret. . .”

About the Author:

At heart, I am a storyteller who writes women’s fiction and stories of courage and discovery, showcasing the protagonist’s journey toward a more fulfilled self.

My passion is writing women’s fiction and exploring the human experience—how ordinary people tackle challenges, endure sorrow and betrayal, wrestle with doubt, and act on their aspirations to achieve flourishing lives. My insight into the power of fiction came during a conference call in late 2017 with a group of fellow life coaches. “What would it be like to help women and men achieve a flourishing life through storytelling?” I asked them.

After that phone call, I got started answering that question. The result was my debut novel titled Blackhorse Road, a compelling story of womanhood and the power of choice, gratitude, and forgiveness, published July 21, 2020, by Coffee Cup Press, followed by Flower Girl (2022), Flawless Witness (2023), and now A Proof of Love (2026)

Before embracing writing fiction, I was the author of health informatics and leadership textbooks. Later, I put my leadership experience to use as a leadership coach, focusing on supporting others to fulfill their leadership and economic potential. My range of nonfiction is available on my Amazon Author Page.
