Commander Orlando Iron Wolf is aboard the International Space Station when a blinking light on his computer console alerts him to a fast moving comet headed for a collision with planet Earth.
With no way to stop the impending doomsday, the world descends into panic and anarchy. Massive transport ships are built to colonize the moon, and evacuation of a chosen few begins.
After a shuttle mission to study the approaching comet goes awry, Wolf is forced into cryogenic deep sleep, and the onboard computer assumes control of the ship.
Wolf awakens 50,000 years later to a wildly different earth. Endowed with incredible strength, he finds himself caught in a war between primitive tribes, and his survival depends on Syn, an advanced computer intelligence who has fallen in love with him.
Will Wolf be able to help restore Earth to its past glory or is civilization doomed to fail?
About the Author
Tim Allen is a twenty seven year veteran Fire Captain for the City of Peoria (Illinois) Fire Department. His writing career began when he had to write a report about a fire incident and he was told to be more descriptive. In his next report, he was more descriptive and reflected about what he had seen and felt during the two minutes of hell. His superiors found no humor in this report and disciplined him. Once several other fire fighters read the report, they were intrigued with his writing and wanted to read more stories.
Allen caught the writing bug. He loves writing science fiction, but currently is working on a murder mystery entitled, "Tethered." With several novels in development, spanning everything from planetary colonization to aliens to time travel, he is also considering writing a few horror stories based on actual past events that have been well documented.

Valerie Moore was a beautiful, headstrong girl with below-average social skills and above-average anxiety (including a flair for over-analyzing).
With her mother long deceased, and her father recently deployed, she ends up being sent to live with her eccentric aunt in a tiny town nestled in the mountains of Pennsylvania. But, being a Navy brat had made her into a bit of a loner, and making friends certainly wasn’t her strongest suit. As if the life of a typical teen wasn’t hard enough.
But Valerie soon discovers she’s not a typical teenager. Not by a long shot.
SECRETS are revealed…
…About her family, about her newfound friends and relationships, and about her whole world… Things that have been kept from her for her entire life…
But the biggest secret of all is revealed when Valerie discovers that she has Elemental powers, and a chain of inexplicable and irrevocable events unleashes throughout the little town…
EXCERPT:
Cade leaned against the wall just inside the doorway, eyeing us silently and intently. The warring emotions that blurred in his eyes were like the chaotic flashing of lights. I tried to pin down a few of them, but I wasn’t sure if I actually succeeded.
Curiosity. Suspicion. Disdain. Jealousy?
He shook his dirty blond head. “Just waiting for my lab table to open up.”
His emerald eyes locked onto mine, slowing me, maybe slowing time itself, until I was barely creeping on my way to the door. I so desperately craved for him to talk to me, and jaw taut, lips pursed, he looked like he was fighting the urge to do just that.
But he didn’t. He just watched with a frustrated expression as I tiptoed out of the room.
My lime green sandals had barely touched the old checkered tiles of the hallway when I felt it. The whole school began to shake. It sent palpable vibrations up my legs and dust falling from the ceiling like mini waterfalls. Balance and gravity completely eluded me and I dropped to the floor like a dizzy drunk. A siren screamed at the top of its lungs as the already dim lights flickered off and on under the strain of the trembling.
“This is not a drill!” Principal Bauer bellowed quickly over the intercom. “Use earthquake protocol; drop and take cover immediately! I repeat, this is not a drill! Drop and take cover immediately!”
All fifty states were at some risk for earthquakes, I knew, but Pennsylvania virtually never had them. It was completely uncharacteristic and absolutely terrifying.
The lights took their last breath then, plummeting the school into a thicket of shadows.
I crawled haphazardly on the tiled floor, the ground rumbling violently beneath me, until I reached the classroom across the hall. Most of the desks were unoccupied, so I slid under one in the front and waited. The quaking was subsiding, but the hammering in my chest was as jarring as ever. Each rapid breath I took only prolonged the anxiety as I waited for the aftershock.
Other students crouched under desks, too, silent with fear, eyes wide and disoriented. Dust hovered like a chalky fog and had a number of kids sneezing, coughing, and gagging. I coughed, then glanced at my hands. My palms were scuffed and stinging, but luckily that was all.
Lightning flashed blindingly through the windows and across our faces as a violent downpour suddenly unleashed from the sky.
And holy shit, global warming might have been happening after all. I wasn’t sure how else to describe the phenomena erupting all around me, but pinning a name to the destruction was the least of my worries right then; I just wanted to get the hell out of there in one piece.

Betrayed by the one person she never suspected, Ivy makes a reckless decision that puts her in the sights of a murderer and jeopardizes Cameron's career. He will do whatever it takes to save the woman he loves...even if that means becoming a killer himself.

All Over You is a completely standalone sister novel to the All Falls Down duo, intended for readers aged 18 and over.
Maroon 5's Payphone rips through my bedroom, pulling me out of a deep sleep.
I groan and roll toward my nightstand, searching blindly for my cell. My head is pounding and my mouth feels like sandpaper. I never want to leave my bed.
Why did I let Erin talk me into drinking so much?
Oh, right. Because she's the devil, and I'm clearly a glutton for punishment.
"I think I hate you, and I'm definitely never drinking vodka with you again," I mumble into the receiver, pulling the blankets up over me and groaning. "How are you even functioning right now? My head is killing me." Cracking my eyes open, I frown at the black marker scrawled across my forearm. "And why the hell am I naked with your name and phone number written on me?" Lifting my arm so I can read the text beneath her number, I groan again. "Property of Erin? In permanent marker? Seriously, you whore? That's never going to come off! I'm firing you as my best friend."
"Uh…." a masculine voice answers with a chuckle.
I sit upright, my eyes widening and my head throbbing in protest. The blankets fall from around me.
"You aren't Erin," I say, blurting the first thing that comes to mind.
"No," the guy says with another dark chuckle. "I'm afraid not."
My mouth works, but no sound comes out. I cannot believe I didn't look at the phone before I started spouting off. Holding it away from my face, I squint at the number. It's familiar, but I can't place it. And it's already noon. I never sleep this late.
Jesus. What did Erin and I do last night? I remember vodka, and Mitch and Erin grinding on the dance floor while Jake and I laughed our asses off at the two of them. A group of frat guys tried to pick us up at some point after my last set.
Is that when Erin wrote on my arm?
I can’t remember. I think Mitch poured us into cabs around three in the morning. Everything that happened in between is a little fuzzy, though.
I hate vodka. And my best friend.
"You still there?" the man asks, still laughing at me.
Crap.
"Yes. W-who are you?" I hold the phone up to my ear, praying he's no one important.
"This is Detective Lewis with the San Francisco Police Department. I'm trying to reach Miss Ivy Kendall."
Well, there goes my dignity.
"Oh my god," I whisper-groan, flopping backward on the bed. "This isn't happening. I'm dreaming. Please tell me I'm dreaming this whole thing and I didn't actually just call you a whore and tell you that I'm naked." I squeeze my eyes closed and whimper as soon as the word naked slips from my lips.
Great. I just told a cop that I'm not wearing any clothes. Twice.
Detective Lewis laughs loudly into the phone. He has a nice laugh, all dark and low, masculine.
My stomach flutters.
"Miss Kendall, I presume?"
I consider telling him no. He can't tell my boss I'm an alcoholic with questionable morals who can't remember what the hell she did last night and definitely shouldn't be allowed around impressionable children if he doesn’t know it's me…right?
"Miss Kendall?" he says, and I think he's even more amused now.
Yep. I definitely hate my best friend.
"Yes, this is Ivy," I say with a sigh and bite back the urge to tell him I'm not usually a crazy person. There's just no way to recover now, though, so I don't even bother. I've already humiliated myself enough, thank you very much.

EXCERPT:
The Billionaire’s Betrayal by Nancy
Robards Thompson
“Your
husband was a good man, Baroness. I’m sorry for your loss.” A good man. Was he?
Helena
Von Lienz smiled politely and bit the insides of her cheeks to keep from asking
the stranger the question that had been burning in her gut since her late
husband, Anton Von Lienz, died in the fiery crash off the Amalfi Coast highway
six months ago with Enzo De Luca, patriarch of the esteemed De Luca family.
But
the well-wisher had already moved along the impromptu receiving line to speak
to Matteo De Luca, oldest son of Enzo, who stood next Lena. Another unknown
person stepped up to gush similar empty sentiments.
Matteo
had assured her only family would attend the memorial service to scatter
Anton’s and Enzo’s ashes. She certainly hadn’t counted on each and every person
queuing up to express their condolences. But somehow, after the memorial, she
and Matteo had found themselves wedged into a corner of the terrace under a
fruit-bearing lemon tree that was next to an obnoxiously lush bougainvillea.
She was numb with grief, so fresh it felt as if the accident had happened
yesterday rather than nearly half a year ago. In some ways, it seemed as if
Anton had been gone for a long time. In other ways, it seemed as if it was just
yesterday. Due to the nature of the accident – the car plunging off the cliff –
the Italian police had investigated. It had taken time. So only now were they
here, scattering the ashes, saying their goodbyes.
Lena
glanced down the seemingly endless line of well-wishers. It snaked around the
lavish infinity pool that blended into the Mediterranean from its perch high
atop the upper patio of the De Luca family’s compound on the aptly named
crescent-shaped island of Isola della Luna.
Obviously,
the meaning of family was relative to the De Luca clan. Their nuclear family
included the five De Luca brothers, Matteo, Rocco, Nico, Marco and Alessandro.
When she factored in other blood relations such as their nona, various uncles
and cousins – and who could forget Prince Santino III, the reigning monarch of
Isola del Sole – he was related to them somehow, but Lena couldn’t remember
exactly – the guest list became unmanageable.
When
the honorary family was added in – heaven forbid they left out anyone – it was
downright ridiculous. Judging by the crowd, Lena wondered if there was a single
soul left on the big island, Isola del Sole. But her shoes pinched and her face
hurt from forced cordiality, which didn’t match how she felt inside. Inside,
she was just numb. All she wanted was to excuse herself and disappear from this
infernal ring of hell that had ripped wide open the wounds she’d worked so hard
to heal.
When
Matteo had called her about plans for the joint memorial service, Lena had
almost declined. Standing here now, she wished she had opted for something more
private, because returning to the place where her husband had lost his life was
a lot more difficult than she expected for so many different reasons.
But
the stark reality remained— scattering Anton’s ashes by herself hadn’t felt
right either. Since Anton didn’t have family, except for three ex-wives who had
come before Lena and couldn’t be bothered to attend the service, it seemed as
if the De Lucas were the closest thing to relatives Anton had. He’d certainly
spent enough time at the family’s private compound. In he fourteen years that
Lena had been married to Anton, she’d never been invited.
Until
now.
Her
heart was heavy. But when Matteo had said, “The famiglia needs closure. Enzo’s
and Anton’s friends need closure. I’m sure you do, too,” she’d agreed to leave
Miami and make the trek back to the Amalfi coast she where she’d vowed she’d
never return.
Famous
last words.
When
she set aside her pride, she had to admit there probably wasn’t a better final
resting place for her late husband.
Now
that she was here, she wished she could find the peace of mind and heart that
Matteo claimed would come through a simple ceremony where people told
heartwarming and sometimes bawdy stories about the men.

Aimee
Sherwood never dreamed that following her fiancé into the witness protection
pro-gram would land her in a haunted house in a town that’s downright creepy.
She’d have laughed if she had been told the guy who lives down the road might
be her soul mate, not the man whose ring she’s wearing. Life in West Virginia
is nothing like life in Los Angeles, but between bean ball battles with Marilyn
Monroe, remodeling a crumbling farmhouse, and starting a new online business,
life in the country is anything but boring.
EXCERPT:
Cade held out his arm to Aimee.
“Ma’am, I would be delighted to show you the gazebo. Do take my arm. The ground
is rather uneven.”
“Why, thank you, sir.”
As they strolled toward the gazebo,
Aimee allowed the setting to mesmerize her and capture her imagination. What
would it have been like to attend this party in the year 1860? Would the threat
of war have lent a spice of excitement to the festivities that made ordinary
activities like visiting the gazebo seem new and romantic?
Cade indicated a built-in bench,
which circled the inside of the gazebo. “Would you like to sit down?”
Aimee sat and gathered her skirts
around her, admiring the rustle of her long, crinoline petticoat. She patted
the space beside her. “Sit beside me.”
Cade bowed. “You honor me, Miss
Sherwood.”
“You may call me Miss Aimee, sir.”
“Miss Aimee, then.” He raised her
hand to his lips and kissed it.
Aimee’s heart took off in a mad
gallop. She felt heat rising from her chest and knew it colored her face an
inconvenient shade of red. Oh! My! Goodness! All he’d done was kiss her hand,
and she was melting. If only she hadn’t left her fan at Miss Gladys’ table.
Cade kept hold of her hand even
though she’d expected him to let go of it. His calloused fingers felt so male,
so strong, so warm that another wave of heat washed over her and almost took
her breath away.
“You look beautiful tonight, Miss
Aimee. There’s not a woman at the party who can touch you.”
Was it her imagination or had he
moved a bit closer to her?
“Your eyes sparkle like blue
diamonds, and I love those curls of yours. You’ve captured the sunshine.” He
reached for her ponytail and bounced her curls in the palm of his hand.
Breathe. She mustn’t forget to
breathe.

10 favorite places to visit:
I’ve
been thinking a lot lately about places I’d like to visit. I retired last year,
and my husband and I hope to do a little traveling. So, here are ten places
we’d love to go.
1.
Garden City Beach in South Carolina. This isn’t a new place for us. We go to
Garden City every summer. The beach isn’t as big as its neighbor Myrtle Beach,
but we like that. We love to go to the Garden City pier, which is a landmark of
the beach. If you go on July 4 you’ll find one of the best fireworks displays
on the entire beach.
2.
Williamsburg, Virginia. If there’s one place I love it’s Williamsburg. When I
go there, I feel such a sense of tradition and history that it thrills me.
History was made in Williamsburg, and of course many of our Founding Fathers
walked those streets.
3.
New York City. I’m a small town girl who lives in the South, but I have a big
desire to see New York. I’d love to go at Christmas so I could watch people ice
skate in front of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center and see all the
Christmas decorations.
4.
Have you ever been to Arizona? I went there a few years ago, and it was
absolutely fantastic! I was like a child bouncing in the seat and pointing from
one side of the road to another. Every cactus, every road was like a visit to a
new world.
5.
Pony Penning Day on Chincoteague Island near Virginia is an amazing event that
you don’t want to miss. If you ever read the book Misty of Chincoteague you
know exactly what’s going on, but if not, here’s a link that explains
everything. If you love horses, you should definitely check this out.
6.
One of my favorite cities is Seattle. A few years ago my sister and I met in
Seattle and spent a week together. She lives in Alaska, and I live in South
Carolina so we had a lot of fun. We went up in the Space Needle, saw some
wonderful Japanese gardens, toured the Pike Street fish market, saw a temperate
rain forest, and many other wonderful things.
7.
You shouldn’t miss Alaska. It’s big, wild, beautiful, and amazing. We drove as
far as we could go until we reached the ocean, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen
anything more beautiful. You don’t want to miss the wildlife and Mt. McKinley
either.
8.
Another place I’d like to go is Los Angeles. We flew over it on the way home
from Alaska, and it was so big it seemed to go on forever. I’d like to do all
the usual tourist things and maybe take the Pacific Coast Highway and drive up
to Seattle.
9.
Another place you’d love is Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. If you love
outlet shopping, music shows, great restaurants, and driving through some truly
beautiful landscapes, you really do need to check this place out. It isn’t far
from the Cherokee Indian Reservation, which you also shouldn’t miss.
10.
Last but not least, I really love Great Britain. We went there some years ago
and found it to be a delightful experience. I love history, and you can’t tour
Britain without getting a sense of history. The one thing I didn’t like was the
food, but if you love good food, I suggest Paris. I never ate anything I didn’t
like in Paris

Interview with IndieLove Magazine
When was it that you decided that
being an artist was your calling?
Yesterday. True! I graduated from
the Queensland College of Art in 2002 as one of many fresh-faced graphic
designers. As the years went on, the briefs came in, the changes, and changes,
and late nights, and more changes, and the all-nighters, more changes and then
having my creative ideas smooshed, I decided that maybe being a graphic
designer was a bit soul destroying. So I painted and created as an outlet.
I showed my work when I lived in
China and had sell-out shows. When I moved home to Brisbane I thought I had to
become a grown-up. Buy a house, settle down, procreate - all those
picket-fence, 2.5 kids ideals. Silly me. I worked my tail off as a designer for
a company that ended up making me redundant, one week before I was due back
from maternity leave. It was an amazing blessing. It gave me the time,
creativity and freedom to put everything I had into a solo show at Jugglers
earlier this year. In my eyes, it was a massive success. I am entirely proud.
Since that show I’ve had so many
opportunities become available for me to truly do what I believe is my calling
- art. Yesterday was the first spare second I’ve had to sit down and think ‘oh
my, everything is falling into place. I’m entirely happy, grateful and I feel
like the real me. The universe is working with me and right here and now is
where I am meant to be.’ This is that happiness that everyone has been talking
about! Huh!
