About Me

I always dislike this part where I have to tell someone about myself. I never know what to say, but I will do my best to tell you about myself. Well, as the title of my blog indicates, I am an avid reader. I have been reading books since fifth grade. My first books were Harlequin romance novels, and then in my teen years, I started reading historical romance. Sometime after that, I discovered Stephen King. I have almost all of his books plus most of his movies on VHS. He is my favorite writer.

Currently, I enjoy reading mysteries, especially cozy mysteries with a canine sidekick. I also like paranormal, thrillers, crime fiction, vampires, witches, and sometimes I enjoy reading romance.

I like to research things on the internet. If there’s something I want to do and I don't know how, I’ll go online and find a tutorial that shows me how. My husband calls me his lil' engineer, lol. If he needs to know something, he asks me to search for it too. I like to think of myself as an internet detective.

I have a wonderful husband. It was his idea for me to make my own website. But I didn't know what kind of website I wanted, so I never made one. Then I thought, I love to read, so maybe I could start a blog to review books I’ve read. I’m glad he suggested I create my own website, because I believe I’ll really enjoy it. I just hope I don't fall flat on my face trying to write a blog.
