A summer fiber festival. A pile of fleece.

A dead body. A small town in a tizzy…

When the Saturday Spinners find a man dead in the fleece tent, Adri Foster must carry on to ensure Spinstock’s success, bringing together fiber artists, musicians, and the whole community.

A medical problem might have caused Wayne Honeywell’s death, but the police soon say otherwise. The body being buried in the fleece rules out a natural cause.

Once Adri and her smart Border Collie, Snooper, are on the case, clues and suspects emerge.

Gossip spreads fast, and appearances are deceiving.

The murder sends ripples through the town; the victim’s wife, Penny, is at the center of suspicion.

Rumors of a red-haired woman, opposition to the power line, and whispers of late-night poker games expand the suspects.

Snooper and Adri notice what others overlook.

Mistrust and betrayal threaten friendships.

In Seven Springs, the truth is hiding in plain sight.

My Review:

A man is discovered lifeless in a fleece tent, his body shrouded in fleece. He didn’t cover himself, so who did? Someone clearly wanted to silence him for some reason—what could it be?

Adri and Snooper dig up numerous clues once they finally begin their investigation. Local law enforcement advised them to steer clear of the case, but we all know Adri can’t resist the urge to get involved. She has a multitude of questions about why he was there so early and what transpired.

The entire town buzzed with chatter about the deceased man found in the fleece tent. When the rumors reach Adri, her curiosity compels her to uncover the truth. As she starts probing around town, clues begin to surface, bringing her closer to the events of that fateful morning in the fleece tent.

Adri’s inquiry also uncovers several suspicious individuals, leading to more clues waiting to be revealed. The plot thickens with layers of mystery and suspense, making the narrative even more intriguing and engaging.

The descriptions were so vividly crafted that I had no trouble visualizing the story, experiencing everything as if I were part of that world. It felt like I was watching a film unfold before my eyes.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dead in the Wool to anyone seeking their next cozy mystery to snuggle up with on a Saturday afternoon or any day, for that matter. So, grab a blanket and a copy of Dead in the Wool today!

New to retirement, Adri Foster thinks the strolling band at the Whoopie Pie Palooza will top the weekend’s excitement.

Then the snobby food critic judge dies after tasting a whoopie pie.

All eyes turn to Wicked Good Buns, the beloved local bakery—and the first stop on the judge’s tasting list.

With her friend’s business on the line, Adri puts on her sleuthing hat. She sorts through a sticky lineup of suspects: the unhappily married herbalist wife, an angry former employee convicted of embezzlement, and a neighbor with a boundary dispute.

With help from her clever Border Collie, Snooper, and the ever-nosy Saturday Spinners, Adri follows a trail of crumbs to a killer hiding in plain sight.

Gossip and grudges run wild in this small town, where residents live for whoopie pies.

My Review:

At the Whoopie Pie Palooza, the judge falls ill after sampling his first pie of the day. He is quickly taken to the hospital, and later Adri learns that he didn’t survive. Her best friend, Jenna, who runs the Wicked Good Buns booth, was the first and only vendor he visited that day.

Despite her sister Alice's constant reminders that Adri has retired, her schedule is busier than it was prior to her retirement. She has no intention of getting involved in the investigation, but when Jenna becomes a suspect, Adri can't resist; she feels compelled to prove her friend’s innocence.

I absolutely adore the Adri Foster Cozy Mystery series and find myself captivated by the various predicaments Adri gets drawn into, whether it’s to assist a friend or simply to uncover the truth while trying to keep someone safe.

The town of Seven Springs always seems to be embroiled in some sort of trouble, with crime constantly placing Adri and her friends in the thick of it.

The Adri Foster Cozy Mystery tales keep me hooked from one page to the next, filled with numerous twists and turns that have me rushing to reach the conclusion, eager for Adri to discover what transpired and why.

The intrigue and suspense alone are enough to keep me turning pages and craving more about what will unfold next. I am eagerly anticipating the next installment in the Adri Foster Cozy Mystery series to see what adventures Adri and her friends will encounter.

As always, I wholeheartedly recommend Whoopie Pie Palooza to all cozy mystery enthusiasts—be sure to grab a copy today!

Retirement is just weeks away when Adri Foster finds a corpse in her bandroom.

Assistant Principal Reed—sharp-tongued, sexist, and a dreadful coach—never makes it to the faculty meeting.

When his death turns from suspicious to murder, the police zero in on the school’s janitor. But Adri knows he didn’t do it.

With her final concert looming and whispers swirling through Seven Springs, sleuthing again pulls Adri back into the fray.

A grudge-holding bus driver and a fiery parent rise to the top of the suspect list—but when her colleague Fred Diaz lands in the crosshairs, Adri won’t stay on the sidelines.

With her trombone in tow and coffee cooling...Adri gets help from her spirited spinning circle, the Saturday Spinners, and her loyal Border Collie, Snooper.

She follows a trail of clues from church bean suppers to the Corner Café.

If she can’t untangle the truth in time, a beloved teacher’s future could be the next to fall.

My Review:

Body in the Bandroom is the second installment and an excellent follow-up in Etta True’s Adri Foster Cozy Mystery series. Similar to the first book, Body in the Bushes, this sequel kicks off with a dramatic event. Winslow Reed, the principal and coach of the local middle school girls' basketball team, has met an untimely demise. Adri discovers his body in the bandroom where she teaches.

The probe into Mr. Reed’s passing reveals several potential suspects who might have had motives against him. However, when one of the teachers, Fred Diaz, becomes a person of interest, Adri takes it upon herself to uncover the truth, convinced that the teacher is innocent.

From the very first page, I was on the edge of my seat, with numerous plot twists propelling me towards the conclusion to learn the fate of Mr. Reed. I was eager to uncover who was responsible and their reasoning. Was it a mere accident, or was there something more nefarious at play?

Body in the Bandroom is an enthralling tale that captivated me from start to finish. I am excited to delve into more of the Adri Foster Cozy Mystery series to discover the next crime Adri encounters.

I wholeheartedly recommend Body in the Bandroom to all enthusiasts of cozy mysteries! Make sure to pick up your copy of Body in the Bandroom today for another intriguing mystery to unravel!
