My Review:

I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Rose is a witch with dark powers that she doesn't know how to control. She shares a cottage with her best friend Ocean in what is called a community. The community is made up of friends that are like family. Her mother Rainbow and little sister Jasmine also live in this little community of a coven of witches. Rose is like any other woman and wants what they want like someone she can love and who can love her back. Because of her magic everyone shuns her and is afraid of what she can do to them.

Rose's mother Rainbow has a very evil and cruel heart. The only thing she cares about is her own power and that of the covens. She will use anyone or anything to gain more power. Rose with the help of Ocean is beginning to find out who and what kind of person her mother is. Rose is nothing like her mother and never wants to hurt anyone. Rainbow controls Rose and everyone else in the coven using them to her advantage and making them believe all her lies.

Rose has learned that her mother is planning on using her as a sacrifice to help her gain more power. She has also found out that her mother has been hiding things from her. Things like who her real father is and what he is. Who is her father? What is her father? She now knows that Derek's family was not the ones who was attacking them and trying to kill her family.

Rose's heart is breaking because of what she did to Derek's brother and has realized that her mother manipulated her into using her magic against Dean. Her heart is also breaking into tiny little pieces because she thinks she has lost Derek. She thinks he will hate her because of who she is and what she did.

Rose is still trying to find a way to defeat her mother, Rainbow and to take back the rose bush that she stole from Derek's family. Not only does she have to worry with her mother she is also trying to find a way to get Derek's brother Dean's soul back at the same time.

When Rose and Derek are having sex Rose has to feel pain so that she won't send Derek's soul to hell also. But the pain is not enough anymore and she sends Derek's soul to hell as well. Rose's heart is broken over the fact that she has hurt the one that she loves. Rose is a very sweet and loving person and would never do anything to cause harm or hurt to anyone. Unless they are like her mother who does evil things to human beings then she will do what she has to, to stop them from hurting others. So now Rose has to find a way to save them all. Can she or will she be able to do what is necessary to save them? Is her heart that good?

While trying to save Derek and Dean, Rose meets her farther and finds out who he is and also what he is, a demon. Rose will have to go to hell herself to save Derek and Dean. She meets a demon in hell that helps her get their souls back. But she has to make a choice that could mean she will lose her life. Is she strong enough of a person to make this choice?

I have truly enjoyed reading all three of the Seduced Saga books. If asked which one I liked the best I could not say as I loved them all. And I highly recommend that you read all three but I do suggest that you start with book #1 Seduced by Innocents and then book #2 Seduced by Pain.

Excerpt:

A woman moved in front of the camera, pushing the reporter out of the way with her body, before grabbing the microphone from his slack grip. Her face was pale, but her dark eyes were filled with determination as she stared into the lens. She got right to the point.

"Don't let this reporter sugarcoat this with his evasions. There are dead people walking out there, and they are fast, deadly, and supernaturally strong. There is a name for them, one we've heard before but thought was only fiction. These dead people are zombies, and they don't care about nothing but getting their teeth into your flesh."

The reporter tried to grab the microphone back, but she shot him a deadly look. "You're not getting this till I'm done," she told him in a firm voice. "I'm not gonna stand by while you get your five seconds of fame and leave these innocent people out there to die. People deserve to know what they are up against, and how to protect themselves. Now back off." Surprisingly, he stood still and listened.

She turned back to the camera. "I know there are some of you out there that don't believe in this. You wanna box it all up, neat and tidy-like, and believe that there must be some rational explanation for this, and come morning it will all be gone. If you believe that though, you're going to find yourself dead before the sun ever hits the sky tomorrow."

Excerpt:

Miss Verrinder had rendered Ryevale speechless-for the second time in an hour. During the dance, the sensation that he was protecting something warm and precious tugged at his insides. He held her closer than necessary, taking her disapproval as a challenge. He couldn't remember the last time a woman had not wished to dance with him, and it would have been amusing, except he didn't want to laugh at Miss Verrinder.

As she regarded him defiantly, Ryevale found himself warming to her quirky oddness as it struck him that fawning beauty was overrated. She had more subtle looks: up close her eyes were a fascinating blue, between topaz and ink. He studied the determined angle of her jaw and delicate shell of an ear. Hers was a look full of character with arched brows, high cheekbones, a strong little mouth, a quickness of expression and sharpness of wit, all of which were most stimulating.

Besides, she was fiercely honest, and part of him envied her the courage. So when the dance ended and she dismissed him, he watched her receding back with a sense of loss borne of not saying the last word.

"Well, I never."

It galled him that such an unworldly chit had bested him. He glanced around, wondering who had witnessed such ignominy when he spotted Annabelle Portas smirking from behind her fan. He studied her afresh-yes, she was physically beautiful, with slender curves and tilted eyes, but she lacked something. Then it came to him; when he'd taken Miss Verrinder's hand, there was an honesty about her that called to his soul.

"I say, Ryevale old chap, over here!"

Ryevale looked up to see Archie Watts approaching-exactly the company he needed: straightforward, uncomplicated Watts.

"Hoy there, Watts."

"Saw your little exhibition just now. Taken to currying favor with Lord Bruton?"

Trust Archie Watts to cut straight to the point, Ryevale thought as he bristled. "So I can't dance with a pretty girl without having my motives questioned?"

Watts raised a brow. "Pretty is she? You must want to impress."

Ryevale suddenly realized he wasn't being polite and that he'd changed his mind about Miss Verrinder; the way she'd dipped and swayed in time to the music, her figure with its full curves, her bust straining that buttoned-up bodice, the lush body of a real woman-she was attractive but hid it well.

"Yes, pretty," he said, more firmly. "There's more to Miss Verrinder than meets the eye."

Admittedly, at first dancing with her had been like holding a fizzing wasps' nest but then a change had come over her-she made fun of him! Perhaps watching over her wouldn't be so tedious after all; fisticuffs seemed more likely than romance, which was a refreshing change.

"You're miles away. Are you coming down with something?" Watts inquired.

"Absolutely fine, although I could do with a stiff drink."

"No sooner said than done, old boy. Follow your Uncle Watts."
