BOOK DESCRIPTION
Eternal Revelations

As Hell reins terror on the earth, can one child bring back humanity and defeat the Devil himself? After millions of people vanish and the dead rise to spread plague over the Earth, 23 year-old Evelyn and her brother join with a small group as they fight for survival. As the plague spreads and the number of the Reanimated rise in humans and animals alike, there isn't anything man made that is strong enough to hold them off. When Evelyn and her group find one of the only children left on Earth-an Autistic child-the Devil begins lurking in the darkness, following their every move. The remaining children are the only chance the human race has at defying the plans the Anti-Christ holds. Of all the horrors the Earth now holds, none are comparable to how treacherous the living become once their humanity is thrown out the window. Evelyn realizes survival isn't just fighting for your life but fighting for your humanity in a world of terror. Join the journey fight for survival against the undead and beasts released straight from the pits of Hell.

Hardest things about character development

Characters make books. Why read a book if you don't like the characters? I'm not saying you have to like them all, but for the most part the main character is one you're able to identify with and you like. When you're creating a character, there's so much more to it than just a name and a face.

Creating what the character looks like is the easiest part for me. I can come up with their looks easier than I can come up with their names. Some people will make a chart and write out everything about their characters from their looks, to their fears. That's where I'm different.

I like to see the character progress. I like to get to know them as I'm writing and learn what they'd to in a certain situation. As my writing grows, so does my character. They go from a name, a face and an attitude to a person with likes, dislikes, and fears.

The hardest part for me is making sure I'm keeping it all real. When writing a scene I try to think of everything about that characters personality and do my best to write the next part as though that person was my best friend and I knew exactly what they would do. Even with the characters voice, I try to keep it as realistic to life and that character as I can. I'll find myself deleting over and over a phrase I want a certain character to say until I get it just right for their personality and in the tone they would use.

I want my characters to make the reader feel like they either do see a part of themselves in that character, or know someone who they can see in that character. They need to be just like you. They need hopes, dreams, fears and even flaws. Maybe I'm a little over zealous with trying to keep my characters all as realistic and believable as I can, but that's what is the hardest part for me.

Everyone is different and everyone has their own ways of coming up with their characters. I can guarantee you my way wouldn't work for many people. But watching my character grow throughout the story and getting to know them with each page makes me able to build my characters more realistic than if I were to just write down any random flaw or favorite for that character. But that's just me. I've also never been one to stick right on with my original plot.

MY REVIEW
Eternal Revelations

The following review is my opinion and not a paid review. I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Millions of people have disappeared off the face of the earth. No one actually knows where they went or what happen to them. The majority believe that God called them home to be with him. 23 year-old Evelyn and her brother Jason aka Jase are left behind to face the rising dead. The dead are rising out of their graves where it is possible, if they are strong enough.

Evelyn's family and friends have always thought that she was kind of crazy because she has always watched horror movies and TV shows all of her life. Evelyn had always believed that there could be some truth in horror movies and was prepared for any kind of disaster that may have arose. Well I guess no one thinks she is that crazy now with the zombies that are walking around. Evelyn was a great heroine one who knew how to fight and use a gun. She can take care of herself better than her brother and a lot of the others that join their group.

They all believe that all the children have disappeared until they reach one of the guys home in their group and they find his little girl is still alive. Evelyn falls for this little girl and vows to keep her alive even if it means her own life. They all wonder why this little girl is still alive. Is she the only child still alive? Can this child and other children if there is still any alive save the world from the plague that caused the dead to rise? Why did the dead rise up out of the ground?

I really liked what Evelyn thought about God, religion and the way the world sees and believes in things. I liked her POV of the whole situation about religion. There is a whole new twist on the zombies like how they became zombies and on the way or how humans could become a zombie. Candis Vargo has written a phenomenal story about zombies that will stay with me for a very long time. Eternal Revelations had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn't put it down until I was finished not that I wanted it to end. I wanted it to go on forever. I can't wait for the next book Eternal Hell and finding out more about Evelyn and the children.

Amid the rubble of defeat, will Hell's Genesis Queen dawn?

Excerpt:

"I like the way you move, kitten."

She took a deep breath, like she needed the extra oxygen to deal with him. "Did you square away the angels in Hell?"

"Yes." Details weren't necessary when they both knew he'd instituted a brutal torture regimen for all of them. "Dance with me?"

"To this music?"

"You didn't appear to be having any problem." He held his hand out toward her.

She stared at his palm. Her expression was reminiscent of an individual confident selling their soul was a reckless choice but entering the deal anyway.

"I don't bite."

Her gaze felt like an impact against his. "You did in Hell."

He wrangled the grin under control. "Then I won't bite."

"I don't think it's a good idea, Micah."

"Why?"

A casual shrug when nothing about her body language suggested she felt relaxed. She crossed her arms beneath her breasts. "Nix says my idea of dancing is sex with clothes on. He couldn't tolerate it and if he couldn't…." She trailed off and gaped at him as if she'd just realized she'd been about to insult him.

Micah grinned. "I haven't lived as long as I have without executing restraint." He stepped closer to her. "I've controlled myself with you more than any other." Because she is my woman and deserves my respect.

Madison allowed him to pull her arms free of their defensive fold. Holding her gaze, Micah coaxed her into his embrace…left hip to left hip, his leg thrusting between her knees, gliding upward and parting her thighs.

She bit her bottom lip. Her breathing grew shallow. The heavy beat of the music thumped around them. His pulse throbbed faster.

Hell's delights, she felt fantastic against him.

"Relax," he said when she remained inflexible. A soft wind would break one of her bones. "I only want to dance with you." Like when they'd been married, just a different manner of movement. This one more intimate than what they normally partook.

Her focus locked on his jaw, and she sharply inhaled when he slid his palm down her back and settled on her hips. He executed the first moves and she followed. As if magnetized, they gyrated in perfect synchronicity.
