Sophie travels to Tuscany to immerse herself in the De Luca family's age-old olive oil methods, staying at their historic farmstead, an authentic agriturismo, to experience traditional Italian hospitality and olive cultivation firsthand.
Sophie is thrilled with her experience. She is learning about olive oil production and the lifestyle it involves. She is also living with the kindest people she can imagine.
Tragedy strikes when Marco, the family patriarch, is found dead among his cherished trees. Though initially dismissed as an accidental fall during an unseasonable harvest, cryptic clues and inconsistencies lead Sophie to suspect foul play.
As Sophie digs deeper, she uncovers secrets—secrets that someone is determined to keep hidden. She must act swiftly to uncover the truth before she becomes the next target.
