Pack Pledged, Book 3
Date Published: 10-31-2025
Chosen by the great wolf, Fenrir, and in possession of his amulet, my bonded and I are expected to single-handedly prevent Ragnarök. Spoiler alert, we’re just as clueless as everyone else. Turns out the gods don’t believe in leaving Cliff Notes.
Fending off attacks from the crooked Alpha and searching for a cure for the illness attacking our females, we’re pushed to our breaking point. With the Alpha hitting our vulnerable spots like a battering ram, we’re on the defensive and the run.
If we can’t expose his corruption and gain control before he turns the pack against us, it’s game over. Bringing him to heel means facing our demons, creating allies, and revealing hidden secrets. Are we powerful enough together to pull off the impossible and make the gods notice us again?
It’s a battle for the wolves we have to win.
Interview with Ophelia Black
What is your favorite part of the book?
I loved getting to use the Norse lore. Weaving it in after deep diving into the mythos was so satisfying.
Does your book have a lesson? Moral?
I think it teaches us to treat everyone well, because we never know who might be the one saving our bacon one day.
Are your characters based off real people or did they all come entirely from your imagination?
In this instance, they were all from my imagination.
Of all the characters you have created, which is your favorite and why?
I really loved Ylva. Her creativity, determination, and sense of justice , even when it cost her were a fun challenge.
What character in your book are you least likely to get along with?
Oh boy, Bo. There were so many times I wanted to choke that man. *laughs.
What would the main character in your book have to say about you?
She likes to torture us by putting us in the worst possible situations, but we get back at her by refusing to cooperate with the outline.
Do you want each book to stand on its own, or are you trying to build a body of work with connections between each book?
I’m trying to build an interconnected universe. Each trilogy will have their own quirks, but we’ll see how they fit together as a whole.
