Review: The Foundations Beneath Us by Hash Black @HashBlackAuthor

The Foundations Beneath Us

by Hash Black

Genre: Horror

Blurb:

Some houses are never truly empty. Their walls drink sorrow, their floors remember blood, and their foundations rot with unspoken sins. The Foundation Beneath Us is a true haunted house story born from the darkest corner of Hash Black’s twisted mind — where history refuses to die and the past drags the living into its endless reenactments. In this nightmare, new homeowners step into a home that has been waiting — patiently, hungrily — for them. The lights may be warm. The floors may creak with age. But make no mistake: something far older, and far crueler, watches from beneath.

My Review:

A couple buys a house, hoping for a fresh start and a new beginning in their lives, eager to leave the past behind. However, their troubles have only just begun as they step into their new home.

While their new house does provide a fresh start, it’s not quite what they were hoping for or expecting. Instead, their new home is filled with the past that continues to haunt them day after day for the rest of their lives. They are now forever tied to the land and their new house.

The Foundations Beneath Us is sure to draw you in, just as it did me, with its many twists and turns that kept me engaged on every page, eagerly anticipating what lay ahead. I found myself in suspense, page after page, on the edge of my seat, waiting for whatever awaited around the next corner.

I was captivated by its vividly written descriptions. I could visualize everything unfolding in my mind as if I were witnessing it all. I felt as though I was watching a movie.

The Foundations Beneath Us may be a short story, but it reads like a full-length novel. I highly encourage any horror fan to grab a copy today!
