My Review:
Following a disastrous seafood incident and a mishap at a gala, Mimi, the younger sister of Naomi, finds herself moving in with Evan Pelletier, the rookie goalie for the Wildcatters.
To earn college credit and graduate early, Mimi takes a job with the Wildcatters, helping with media relations after the gala debacle. Graduating early means she can finally stop relying on her sister for tuition.
When her apartment's air conditioning fails, Mimi temporarily relocates to Evan's place to assist the team with media tasks. Although she feels uncertain about this living arrangement, the credit is essential for her. She fears the possibility of heartbreak, not wanting to get involved with someone who might vanish from her life in an instant.
Mimi worries that Evan might be displeased with her moving in, but her concerns are unfounded; Evan is thrilled to have her around, as he finds himself falling for her quickly and deeply.
Another Mistake is the ninth installment and the second novella in the Wildcatters Hockey Series, making a delightful addition to the collection. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey of Mimi and Evan.
I've relished every tale in the Wildcatters Hockey Series. Each book is a standalone gem, distinct in its own right, contributing its unique charm to the series. I was captivated by this series from the very first book, with each story introducing wonderfully endearing characters that I instantly adored.
