I truly love Tessa Aura’s Penelope Sinclair Cozy Murder Mystery series, and the eighth installment, Shaken, Not Stirred...To Death was a fantastic addition. The titles of each book in the series resonate perfectly with their respective stories, which I find delightful.

From the very beginning of Shaken, Not Stirred...To Death, I was captivated by the world it presents, starting with a man discovered lying in the snow, posed in a peculiar manner. Penelope excels in her sleuthing role, as she possesses a keen eye for detail, noticing every little nuance, which is simply impressive.

In Penelope’s shop, The Curious Finds, someone is leaving snow globes depicting real-life crime scenes that Caleb is currently investigating. As Penelope delves into the case, she uncovers numerous suspects, each with motives for wanting to harm this unfortunate man. But who among them is the true culprit? What grudges did they have against him, if any?

Teo proves to be an invaluable ally to Penelope during her investigation, guiding her to various clues and uncovering who is behind the creation of the snow globes and the murders. Teo is always by Penelope’s side, assisting her in every possible way.

Shaken, Not Stirred...To Death kept me guessing until the very end regarding who was behind the unfortunate fate of the man found in the snow. Penelope must race against time to unravel this mystery before she becomes the next victim encased in a snow globe.
