MULTIPLE BESTSELLING AUTHOR AND THE 2025 GLOBAL BOOK AWARDS WINNER FOR A VERY STICKY MURDER.

Copenhagen in late winter promises candles, canals, and comfort food—not murder.

When international food critic Darcy Finnegan arrives to sample Denmark’s coziest cuisine and quietly plan her European elopement, she expects hygge, pastries, and good coffee. What she doesn’t expect is the murder of an elite Danish customs inspector—and her Schnoodle, Mozart, obsessively sniffing a suspicious shipment of gourmet coffee beans.

Ignoring the firm objections of her Interpol fiancé, Darcy follows the inspector’s final trail through roasteries, Michelin kitchens, and candlelit cafés. With help from her fearless photojournalist best friend, she uncovers a hidden world of high-end culinary smuggling, where rare delicacies are concealed inside luxury imports—and silence is deadly.

As suspects close in and a heart-stopping ride over the treetops of Tivoli Gardens nearly claims Darcy herself, she must expose a killer hiding in plain sight.

Because in Copenhagen, even comfort food can conceal lethal secrets.

My Review:

Darcy and Marcus have traveled to Denmark to tie the knot. Naturally, Mozart, Darcy’s Schnoodle, along with her best friend Lizzie, who works as a photojournalist, are there to witness this joyous occasion.

Darcy's primary reason for being in Denmark is to indulge in its exquisite cuisine and to marry the man she adores, not to get entangled in the demise of a high-ranking Danish customs officer. Marcus cautions Darcy to steer clear of the ongoing investigation, but that’s simply not in her nature, despite his wishes for her to back off.

Especially when the evidence is practically right in front of her, she finds it irresistible to follow every lead. It’s just part of who she is, right? To top it off, Mozart is right there, sniffing out each clue with a little sneeze.

Death in Denmark is the eleventh installment in the Darcy and Mozart Cozy Culinary Mystery series by Greta Sinclair, and it proves to be another fantastic addition to the series. The blend of mystery and suspense, along with the antics of Mozart and Darcy, ensures that the pages keep turning as each piece of the puzzle is uncovered.

I am eagerly looking forward to diving into more of this delightful series to discover where Darcy and Mozart's next food adventure will take them and what surprises await.

As always, I highly recommend picking up a copy of Death in Denmark today so you can experience life in Denmark alongside Darcy and Mozart!
