Upon their arrival, the scene resembles a postcard, with guests gathered around the fireplace, appearing all snug and comfortable, each engaged in their own activities while basking in the warmth of the fire.

In his locked room, Arthur Beale’s fate is evident almost immediately; perhaps he shouldn't have had that tea. Penelope promptly begins her investigation, as there are numerous suspects among the guests. Did one of them play a role in Arthur's fate, or could it be the work of someone else? If so, what could they possibly hold against the unfortunate Arthur?
