My Review:
Murder at the City Bank is filled with loads of secrets, secrets that someone is willing to keep that way. How far are they willing to go to keep someone silenced? Alexia and the town of Maplewood learned, in a shocking way, that Keith Miller, the bank's most punctual loan officer, had been silenced.
Keith had been visiting Alexia’s pet store every Friday for a few weeks. He went to see Daisy, a Pekingese puppy. He wanted to adopt Daisy. But one Friday, he didn’t come in as he usually did. Alexia and Jenna became worried and decided to check on him the next morning.
Their investigation into Keith’s demise turned up a few suspects and many clues. With each clue that was revealed, it left me wanting more and very invested in finding out. I was hooked with each clue as the mystery amped up with each one.
I can't wait to read more in the Alexia Jones Cozy Mystery series. I want to see what happens next for Alexia, Jenna, and Buddy!
