Focus on the Farmer

Published: November 6, 2025

Genre: Romance

Blurb:

I capture moments for a living, hiding behind my camera. The Royal Adelaide Show was just another assignment, until Jackson Pearce, a ruggedly handsome farmer with a quiet strength and haunting blue eyes, forces me into the frame. After his bull introduces us headfirst, my job transforms into a dizzying, heart-pounding complication.

He sees past my city-girl defenses, stirring feelings I thought were buried. But his life is dirt roads and wide-open spaces, and mine is deadlines and duty to my dad. Jackson represents a future I never imagined, one that terrifies and tempts me in equal measure.

The connection is real, the chemistry explosive, but can a love sparked in the heat of the show survive the distance? Or will choosing him mean losing myself?

My Review:

When I began reading Focus on the Farmer, I didn’t anticipate becoming so engrossed so quickly after glancing at the summary, but I was captivated from the very first page. I found it to be far more enjoyable than I had initially thought.

I couldn’t bring myself to put it down for even a moment. It reminded me of a television series that I watch repeatedly. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen it. Focus on the Farmer brings to mind the show McLeod’s Daughters.

The dynamic between Megan and Jackson is reminiscent of the bond between Tess and Nick in McLeod’s Daughters in numerous ways. The Murray Greys also evoke memories of McLeod’s Daughters.

Focus on the Farmer is one of the most compelling stories that has captured my attention like this in quite some time. I must commend the author for crafting such a remarkable tale, making me truly feel the love between Megan and Jackson. Additionally, I felt completely immersed in the narrative, with vivid imagery playing out in my mind.

I would be thrilled to explore more within this captivating world of farmers, their livestock, and their day-to-day lives.

I wholeheartedly recommend picking up a copy of Focus on the Farmer today!
