My Review:
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the captivating stories in Daisy Landish's Timeline Retreats. The unique characters are fascinating, and I'm learning a great deal from their journeys. These stories follow individuals who are chosen to travel to alternate timelines, where they get to experience a week as a different version of themselves. This allows them to explore how their lives could have unfolded if they had made different choices.
Reading Timeline Retreats was far more enjoyable than I had anticipated. Since it is a Daisy Landish novel, I am not sure how I ever imagined it would be anything than excellent. No matter what narrative she writes, you can be sure it will be enjoyable since Daisy is one of those writers.
I was captivated by the
stories of Mara, Lana, Jules, Nora, and Sage as they all traveled
back in time to see what their lives might have been like if they had
made different choices.
Each story is unique in its own
way. The world-building in each tale is so special and beautifully
crafted. I could keep reading story after story in the Timeline
Retreats universe. Each story left me with many unanswered questions
that made me race to the end to find the answers I sought.
