My Review:
Harvest of Shadows and Dark Brews is a fascinating and engrossing novel that kept me thoroughly engaged from start to finish. The tension had me on the edge of my seat the entire time as I tried to unravel the unfolding mystery.
A mysterious new group has arrived in town. Jenna's friend Lisa has gone missing, last seen with a group called The Grove Collective. The Grove is drawing people into their grasp one by one. If they are not stopped soon, they could take over the entire town.
With the assistance of her former spy neighbor, Mildred, and the town's charming police chief, Joe, Jenna goes undercover to rescue Lisa and protect the community.
A college student is hospitalized after overdosing on a tonic linked to The Grove. Jenna suspects that the overdose and Lisa's disappearance are connected.
Harvest of Shadows and Dark Brews stands out on its own and is sure to keep your interest for hours or even longer, as some stories do. I look forward to reading more of Jenna McGregor’s adventures soon.
