My Review:
DS Regan Carter returns in The Colour of Fury, the fourth and final book in the DS Regan Carter series by Andrew Barrett. I really hope this isn't the last time we hear from DS Regan Carter. I’d love to see Regan in a spin-off or a continuation of the series. Plus, I believe many criminal bosses out there need to be brought to justice.
In The Colour of Fury, Regan is after one last criminal boss, Kingston. She’s determined to do whatever it takes to see that he’s caught and brought to justice. However, she’s walking a fine line, crossing boundaries in her pursuit of bringing down Kingston—boundaries that might not hold up in court. Regan knows she’s crossing those lines.
The Colour of Fury kept me hooked from the first page to the last, with twists and surprises throughout. I was captivated on every page, eager to see where the story was headed and how all the characters' stories would ultimately connect. I also kept wondering just how far Regan would go to catch her man—how far she’d go for justice and to remove a monster from the streets.
If you enjoy crime thrillers, I highly recommend trying the DS Regan Carter series. You won’t regret it, I’m sure. Grab your copy of all four books in the series today!
