Dead World Trilogy #3

Blurb:
Stella and Logan have reached the coast.
Now, all that's left is to move up it's length and find Max, the man Stella has been desperate to reunite with since before the outbreak. But things are never as simple as they seem. With an army of infected standing in their way, and a club of dangerous people rejoicing the end of times, it's clear the last leg of their journey isn't going to be an easy one.
In a world with hardly any victories, when your goal is almost within reach, it can be easy to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel.
But it can be even easier for things to fall apart.
My Review:
Stella and Logan have finally reached the coast; now all they have to
do is find Max, the man Stella has been trying to get to since the
beginning. However, there are still many obstacles in their way,
making it harder than they anticipated. Their journey has not been an
easy one, and it has not gotten any easier since their arrival at the
coast.
First, they crash their vehicle, and then Logan
storms off by himself in a fit of rage. He blames himself and others
for the losses they have endured during their journey. Logan has
almost withdrawn into himself, leaving the world around him behind,
before Stella can reach him. He no longer cares about anyone or
anything that is happening around him.
After the car
crash, Stella goes searching for him and finds a woman all alone in
the woods, surrounded by zombies. The woman has lost her sanity due
to bizarre experiences involving the zombies. It is challenging for
Stella to escape this woman, especially when she unleashes the
zombies on her.
The action intensifies when the zombies
are released upon Stella. She must fight for her life while doing her
best to find Logan and save him from this woman. The questions loom:
where is Logan? Is he okay? Is he safe? What has happened to him?
I
love zombies and can’t get enough of them. I relish all the
zombie-fighting scenes. A World Apart does not disappoint in this
regard. The zombies keep the story engaging, making me crave more.
The descriptions are so well written that I can visualize
everything in my mind as if I am part of it. I would love to see the
Dead World Trilogy adapted into a movie or, better yet, a TV show,
since they last longer.
I highly recommend A World Apart
