Answers that she must find… A truth that he can't escape…And ghosts up to no good…

Being a demi-god has its privileges. For the young nymph, Starling Jackson, it means the gift of seduction and more than that-near immortality. Yet, when her life is filled with spirits, immortality may not be all it's cracked up to be.

With the help of her bodyguard, Jasper Gray, and secret books left to her by her late-mother's friend, she may have found the answer to all of her problems. First, they must find a way to locate the books in their enemy's hotbed all while staying safe and most importantly-without falling in love.

In the battles between the head and the heart and enemies and friends, tough decisions must be faced-and sacrifices made.

My Review:

I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Starling Jackson is a young Nymph, a demi-god with the power of seduction and near immortal is going through a lot of hard things for one so young not only is she having to deal with the loss of her mother she also has someone who wants or needs her for some pacific reasons. And on top of all of this she has what to her is a curse. Starling hears voices in her head or what sort of feels like in her head but in actuality they are ghost or dead spirits. The dead talk to Starling which is about to drive her insane. She needs to find a way to put an end to all the noise. She thinks she has found a way to stop it. A friend of her mother's has left her a set of secret books that she must find. She has been told that there is information in the books that will help her stop hearing the spirits talk to her. But there is only one little problem, no big deal; the books are at the heart of her worst "nightmare".

But hopefully with the help of her hottie of a bodyguard Jasper Gray they will find these secret books and put a stop to her hearing the spirits and to her "nightmares" as well. I don't see how Starling could have any more problems with the spirits with a hunk of a man for a bodyguard like Jasper Gray. With being friends with Danica on Facebook I can just image Starling melting and oozing down his leg every time she just glances at Jasper. Hey just by looking at him I would be like spirits? What spirits? Oh wait I'm sorry umm I will get back to my review now. Oh but Jasper sounds like one hot dude that would make your tongue reach out slap your brains out.....

Well hopefully Starling and Jasper can find these secret books and put a stop to her hearing the voices of the dead spirits and her curse as she sees it without their feelings getting in the way that is. While I was reading Savannah Sacrifice I kept thinking how can she see her ability to hear spirits as a curse and not as a gift? I would be like oh yeah I can hear the dead talk to me and I can talk back to them to oh yeah. Well unless they were evil and wanted to hurt me then I would probably want to get the H.E.L.L out of dodge, oh yeah.

Oh man I have honestly and truly loved, loved, loved oh did I mention that I loved reading Savannah Sacrifice? I love all of the books in the Nymph Series and really hope that Savannah Sacrifice is not the last book. Need me some more of these "hotties". Oh yeah! I sure do. But seriously guys the Nymph Series is an amazing set of novels. Savannah Sacrifice will take hold of you right from the first word and keep you mesmerized right up until the last word still wanting more and more. I give you fair warning! Warning, warning the Nymph's have the power of seduction and so does the Nymph Series it has the power to grab on to you and draw you into its web of seduction as well. Oh yeah! So what are you waiting for go grab your copy or should I say copies of the Nymph Series, now I say. Trust me you won't regret it one little smidgen'.

Blog Tour: The Coach's Wife By Barbara Casey @GHBTours

The Coach's Wife

Genre- Mystery/Suspense
Publication Date- March 2014
Published By- Archebooks Publishing

Another deafening roar exploded from the coliseum, and when it did Marla threw down her partially smoked cigarette and ground it into the polished tile floor with the toe of her shoe.  Quickly she reached for another cigarette from the opened pack in her small red handbag.  She lit it, sucked the smoke into her mouth, held her breath, coughed, and then slowly released it.  Marla didn't smoke, but when she paced up and down the hallways of basketball coliseums, puffing on cigarettes seemed appropriate.  It gave her something to do with her hands, and it helped keep her sane.

Marla Connors, recently married to head basketball coach Neal Connors, travels with her husband to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the Piedmont State University Coyote team is playing in the NCAA Finals.  Marla has not been accepted by the Coyotes, that loyal bunch of fans who follows the university team, partly because she is almost twenty years younger than Coach Connors and a divorcée, but also because the fans are afraid she will distract her husband from his duties as head coach.  They see her as someone who married Coach Connors just for his money.  Only Gale, the older wife of assistant coach Stu Simmons, goes out of her way to be a friend to Marla.
The Coyote team is plagued with problems from the very beginning of the season, and when they finally manage to reach the NCAA Finals, it's even worse.  Their center is caught using drugs, Athletics Director Charlie Morgan, who is also in Albuquerque for the games, makes a pass at Marla in her hotel room, and Coach Connors comes down with the flu.  No one believes that State can win the big game.
With so much happening, Marla can't shake the feeling that something evil is taking over her life.  She tries to convince herself that it is emotional anxiety left over from the abuse she experienced during her first marriage to Dr. Martin Andrews and that the stress from the tournament has brought it once again to the surface.  She soon learns, however, that the evil is real and it threatens not only everything she loves, but her very life.
Illegal drugs, illicit affairs, murder, and scandal that shakes the entire university system are woven inextricably into Marla's life until eventually she comes face to face with her real tormentor.  It is only then that she realizes the full depth of her love for her husband--and his love for her.

Book Blitz: Breaking Fences by Juliana Haygert @juliana_haygert @NereydaG1003 #YABOUNDBOOKTOURS #Giveaway

Breaking Fences (The Breaking Series, #2)
Genre: NA contemporary romance
Word Count: ~80,000
Release date: June/2014
Cover by: Okay Creations

Summary from Goodreads:
All Beatriz "Bia" Fernandes wants is to prove herself-to her family and friends-though it's hard to prove anything with an overbearing father and three famous polo-playing older brothers. After her acceptance into college results in a heated family argument, the Brazilian girl leaves everything behind to find her own American dream.

College life away from home is perfect until the people she believes to be her friends turn on her. With lies and rumors threatening to suffocate her, Bia turns to her only freedom. Riding.

But one thing gets in the way of her escape. Garrett Blackwell and his bad cowboy attitude. Working at the ranch is his obligation, bugging Bia is his newfound hobby. His thick skin and easy grin don't hide what Bia already knows-this misunderstood and lonely cowboy fights his own demons. Brushing horses' coats and mucking out stalls shouldn't be this sexy, and it isn't long before he becomes a part of her distraction.

However, escaping won't solve her problems, and it's up to Bia to break down the fences around her and prove her strength-not to her family and friends, but to herself … and for Garrett. Because standing on her own doesn't have to mean standing alone.

Excerpt:

"Time's up," Garrett shouted.

I pulled the reins and slowed Midnight, steering him toward the men.

I leaned over the horse and patted his neck. "Good boy." I stopped him in front of Garrett and smiled. "He's amazing."

Garrett nodded, his face serious, and Tom looked at me with a frown.

I was about to ask them what happened when Garrett's cell phone beeped. He glanced at it and sighed.

"Delilah will be here in ten minutes," he said, jumping off the fence. "Can you cool him down, please?"

"Yeah," I said. He stalked off and I glanced at Tom. "Something wrong?"

"When isn't something wrong?" Tom answered before following Garrett inside the stables.

What the hell?

Midnight nickered, bringing my attention back to him. "All right, big boy." I slipped off him. "Let's get you cooled down for your practice."

I didn't take him inside to a wash stall since he would be out here again in a few minutes. I just tied his reins to a fence post, took off his saddle, and turned on the hose on the outside of the stable.

As soon as the cold water hit his hot coat, he advanced on me, in a happy gait. I laughed and got out of his way. To let him play, I untied his reins and held them in my left hand, while I hosed him with the right one.

He nipped at my shirt, biting the edge, and pulled me closer.

I laughed. "Hey. Are you trying to get me wet too?"

He nickered and I laughed louder. He tried nipping at me again and I stepped aside, turning around to escape him, and saw Garrett leaning in the stable's doorway, watching us with his arms crossed.

That caught me by surprised, and I came to an abrupt halt, facing him. He held my stare, his expression impassive. I didn't get him. Half an hour earlier, I could swear he was flirting with me, and now he was distant and looking at me as if I had stolen something from him.

Midnight poked his muzzle on my waist, tickling me, and I laughed again. I pushed Garrett out of my mind and turned to the horse.

We played with the water for a while, and he did manage to get my legs soaked. Droga, I didn't have any other jeans with me. Next time, I would bring a couple of extra pants, boots, and tops.

I was about to turn off the hose when Midnight bit my shirt again and pulled me back, away from the faucet.

I laughed. "Come on, big boy. We have to get you ready."

"What's going on?"

A chill wave rushed through me. Midnight let go of me and neighed.

I turned around and found Delilah tapping her foot on the ground, her hands on her waist, and her blue eyes about to murder me.

"I asked, what's going on? What are you doing with my horse?"

"I was helping Garrett. He asked me to cool Midnight down before your practice." I walked to her, pulling the horse with me. He snorted, not wanting to come, but I jerked the reins with force. I offered her the reins. "Here. He's all yours."

She took the reins, still looking at me as if she was going to jump at my throat at any moment.

"Excuse me." She took a step closer, expecting me to move from her away. Oh, there was plenty of space by my sides. I jutted my chin out and didn't move.

With a huff, Delilah walked around me, keeping her eyes on mine until she couldn't turn her neck any farther.

I watched as she marched to the other side of the arena, fighting with Midnight all the way. He didn't want to go with her, but she pulled him hard and hissed at him. That was no way to treat a horse.

Garrett was going after her, but before walking on, he paused by my side and offered me a hand towel.

"You've got some balls," he said, his lips turned up.

I smiled, using the towel to dry a little of my pants. "I rather think I don't."

He chuckled low, and I swear he almost smiled. Shaking his head, he said, "Gotta make sure the princess is well attended." He tipped his hat and followed his half-sister to where the jumping poles were set up.
