Blurb:

Lost on the Appalachian Trail, Carl Baker finds a hidden cabin called the 11 Month Inn. Inside he meets beautiful women ranging from small to towering, and finds his feelings growing fast for petite, sexy and lonely Rue. But as he learns more about the inn's residents and their mystical secret, Carl faces a difficult choice. Does he leave without Rue to return to the life he's known, or stay with her and leave his world behind?

Excerpt:

Carl came to the edge of a clearing. Before him was a log cabin - a huge log cabin. It was two stories tall. There were three windows across the top floor and two on either side of the door at the center of the front. There also was a large, wrap-around porch with a roof. The timber, while weathered, appeared to be from native trees.

Carl quickly realized why the light he'd seen appeared to be from a campfire. It was firelight, but from various sources. Inside he could see candles through three windows and a kerosene lantern through a fourth. Fireplaces could be seen in the remaining two windows.

As he approached, Carl spotted a small sign to the right of the door, made of the same wood as the cabin. It read, "11 Month Inn."

Although he hadn't planned to stay at any kind of hostel or motel, this was too appealing to Carl. He walked onto the porch.

Then he spotted her. She was peering through a ground-floor window at him. She had a heart-shaped face and beautiful red hair. Her complexion was pale, and her eyes ice-blue. Those big eyes were staring at Carl, looking amazed. He could tell she was tiny. Even so, the window was so low she was forced to lean over, the scoop neck of her blouse revealed ample breasts for her size.

Carl stopped and waved. He wanted to appear friendly to whoever was here - and especially to this petite beauty.

She stood up straight, showing off a tiny waist and a butt just round enough to be magnificent. Her left hand to her chest, she waved with her right. Then she ran backward into the room.

After a few seconds, Carl heard the groan of old hinges in front of him. The tiny woman had opened the door. She beamed up at him. "Hello."

"Hi," Carl replied. "I saw your sign. Do you have any rooms?"

The woman shifted her weight onto one foot, looking up at Carl. She nodded. "There's always a room here. Come on in."

Carl entered. "I'm sorry I don't have a reservation."

"That's okay," the woman answered. "No one has a reservation except those of us who live here."

Carl grinned. "I'm Carl Baker."

The woman held out her hand. "I'm Rue."

Excerpt:

"All I'm saying is I think you deserve better," Case said. "From my point of view, anyway. You deserve better."

I threw my head back on the sofa and laughed. It was a harsh laugh with no mirth. "Most of the time, I don't think I deserve better."

"Everyone deserves better."

"Not me." I didn't look at him. "No one else would want me. I've royally fucked up. Everything. There isn't anything better out there. Anything or anyone."

"Yeah, there is."

"Oh, really?" I brought my eyes back to him. "And where exactly would I find better?"

It was quiet for a moment. Then he said,"Well, you might start with me." My eyes widened. "With you?"

His cheeks flushed just a bit. "You don't have to sound so surprised."

I immediately felt bad. "That's not what I meant. Sorry."

He laughed. "It's fine. I'm kidding. About you being surprised. Not about being better."

"Well how would I know you were better?" I said. "It's not like you've ever asked me out."

He thought about this for a minute. "So if I asked you out, you'd go?"

I honestly had no idea where the conversation was headed. He was confusing me like crazy and I wasn't sure what to say to him. I thought maybe he was just screwing around with me.

"Yeah, I would," I said, calling his bluff.

"What about Aidan?" he asked.

"What about him?" I said, shrugging. "You just pointed out all the reasons I shouldn't be with him. Maybe you're right and I've just been too dumb to see it."

I didn't know if I believed what I was saying but it felt like the truth was on the wall, some message that everyone had deciphered but me. And I was going to try my hardest to translate it, however I could.

He stared at me for a long time. I didn't say anything, just stared into those eyes that were always friendly, always honest.

Description:

Isabelle Clark always had ideas, but that's all they ever were . . . until now. She grew up in a world filled with poverty and hatred from the person who gave birth to her and had decided she would finally make her ideas a reality. After moving away to college as a junior she ran into the University of Maryland's walking one-night stand. Literally.

Maddox Mitchell was every girl's wet dream all in one muscled, tattooed, pierced, baseball playing package. He thought he had the life: going to school, tattooing people by day, and giving girls the best orgasms of their life by night. When he found out that Financial Aid didn't fully cover Isabelle's room and board Maddox had an idea: Isabelle should move in with him.

On the outside everybody sees Isabelle as a quiet bookworm and Maddox as a player, both on and off the baseball diamond. They soon learn who the other truly is. Either way, they're about to realize this idea was a beautiful one.

Excerpt:

The next morning we had breakfast with everyone. I don't know how Sharon managed but she made everything and anything you could think of. Pancakes with real maple syrup, waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, bacon, sausage, eggs, buttered toast with your choice of homemade strawberry or grape jam and finally a fruit salad made up of honeydew, watermelon, strawberries, grapes, and cantaloupe. There was also freshly brewed coffee with cream and sugar, hot tea, and orange juice.

I couldn't believe how amazing it all looked. I grabbed a bowl and a fork because I just wanted some fruit salad and a mug filled with hot coffee. I sat down at the dining room table and just as I was about to take a bite of honeydew and watermelon a plate was set in front of me with a waffle topped with strawberries and whipped cream. I looked up and saw Maddox sitting down next to me with a plate filled to the rim with eggs, sausages, and bacon and another plate with pancakes. He took a bite of his eggs and then looked over at me. "Isabelle, you need to eat."

In all honesty, I wasn't all that hungry. I leaned over and whispered, "I'd rather eat the strawberries and whipped cream off you." I saw him start to choke on his eggs. He grabbed my hand and put it on his crotch. I took in a shaky breath because he was as hard as a rock and after he swallowed the food in his mouth he whispered for only my ears, "We can definitely make that happen and you bet your sweet tasting little pussy we will."

I could feel my cheeks getting red and then I looked over at him and saw that his pupils were dilating. I thought I was going to come right there but I shook the thoughts off and looked away. I took a bite of my food ignoring Maddox. By this time Todd, Sharon, and Callie were seated at the table eating their breakfast as well.

Todd was busy reading the morning paper and sipping his coffee. Sharon and Callie were stuck in their own world talking about going shopping and then going out to lunch to notice what I was about to do.

I don't know what came over me but I went for it. As soon as Maddox took a bite of his eggs I pushed my hand into his sweatpants and grabbed his erection. He started choking but I kept my hand where it was and just started to move my hand up and down faster. I picked up my coffee cup and pretended to take a sip when in actuality I was giggling into it. I was also wondering how long I could keep this going. That's when I noticed the waffle with whipped cream and strawberries staring at me. I put my coffee cup down and replaced it with a fork and picked up a strawberry and dipped it into the whipped cream.

Maddox must have noticed what I was doing because he said, "Oh God." I turned to Maddox and placed the whipped cream covered strawberry to my lips. I stuck my tongue out, licked that strawberry clean and then pushed the fork as far as I could into my mouth. I sucked the strawberry off with a loud POP. All the while I was stroking him as hard and as fast as I could manage.

I never took my eyes off Maddox and the second the fork left my mouth he came in my hand.

Oh yeah, breakfast of champions right here!

Excerpt:

"A gentleman at the bar had this sent over for the bride-to-be. He sends it with his congratulations," the waiter said. "He had another message, as well, for the bride."

The waiter gave me the note. It was a simple business card, folded once. I opened it, not knowing what to expect.

My breath caught in my throat.

Truth or dare? it said, in that unmistakable handwriting-small, almost illegible block letters. I turned the card over. There was no contact information, just a simple embossed name: Gabriel Augustine.

My heart stopped.

It's amazing how everything can change in one second. Just those few words sent me into a spiral.

My world tilted, shifted and uprooted from under my feet. The bottle of Champagne sat against the waiter's arm, signifying a million different things, but mostly signifying Gabe. Without thinking of anything-not Delilah, not Cort, not the veil perched on my head-I leapt from my chair, nearly knocking it over, and bolted out the door. The heavy, humid night air enveloped my skin as I frantically looked up and down Girod Street, hoping to see him.

"Gabe!" I called. "Gabe!"

My heart raced. I'd spent more than three years stuffing away all thoughts of him-the way his body pressed against mine, the rough and tender way he kissed me, how he filled every part of me, deeply and passionately, the feel of his large hands as they explored every curve of my body, the way his lips felt against the inside of my thigh; and I'd stuffed away every word he'd said, every I love you, I need you, I want you, every whisper that he couldn't live without me, every tortured word, especially goodbye-and now it was flooding out of my head, like a cage of birds that had been set free, but didn't know where to go.

"Gabe!" I called again, but he wasn't there.

Excerpt

The surging tide is tempting. I'm concentrating on the foam that is quickly erasing my footsteps. It's not the caw of gulls that alerts me, because the winged creatures have vanished. In their place, the air is filled with my name. I lift my face to something startling, and my heart begins to pound.

The sky has burst into flame. Red and gold, it's raging. The sun is the sky. Scorching. Shooting stars, like flaming spears, are dropping all around me. If I don't shut my eyes, I'll be blinded. If I do, I'll be nothing but a solid target. The wind wails like a mother who has lost her child. "When the third moon falls, the beast will devour the sky."

As suddenly as it started, it ends. I'm standing beside Father, totally disoriented. Am I standing? I look down at my feet, because I feel legless. I'm floating. Struggling to regain control of my mind, my body, the shock.

I grip the clipboard and pen with my knees, so that I can draw my palms across my twitching eyelids, astonished that I'm actually still holding onto anything.

"Did you see that flash? Did you hear that creepy voice?" I'm breathless, massaging my pounding temples with burning fingertips. "My head feels like it's about to split open." I rattle each eardrum with a pinky, then plug my ears to listen intently. Was the urgent whisper that turned me to stone inside my head? Phantom sounds? I've never experienced this kind of phenomenon before. "My eyes pain."

Father regards me with a mix of surprise and concern. "You have a migraine?"

"Migraine?" I scoff. What the fuck, loops through my head. I'm freaked out, left with a strange feeling this is not going to be like other days. I try to shake it off, like I shake him off.

The sky is now clear and so perfectly blue, it looks as though it's been painted by deliberate strokes of an artist's brush. It is a seamless dome of beauty. If we were not receiving today, I might be lying on the pristine beach, permitting my thoughts to wander far beyond my own boundaries. Maybe I'd be lounging on my bluff, or climb my watchtower tree, burrow into its welcoming arms where I collect my years, watch over all that is mine.

"Feeling better?" His voice is buffered, but coarse enough to jar me from thought.

Skimming Father, my gaze snaps back to the waves, the skiff that is almost upon us. "I'm fine." I don't mention how bad my body aches, and feels like it's being torn apart. I stretch my arms, then my neck, trying to pin down what I did to cause these muscle spasms. The bomb that's about to explode in my head.

When the ocean is calm it's translucent, sparkling with sunlight as though it's coated with billions of precious gemstones. Today it's not much more than rolling waves and seaweed.

"I've never seen it this rough." Between wind and thunderous surf, I have to face him or my voice will be useless.

"Storms." His reply is blunt.

"You wouldn't know it by the sky." I bring my gaze to a more pleasant sight.

"There's one brewing out there. You'd feel it if you had my knees." Staring gravely at the ocean, his body is rigid.

"Are you in pain?"

"Nothing I can't handle."

"Let's hope the weather holds off until we've settled them."

"Rain or shine, we've got our work cut out for us, Brook."

"As always." My stomach rises to my throat as I watch their approach. I wonder if I'll ever get used to this way of life. Do I want to? Of course not. There are so many other things I'd rather be doing right now, like hopping onto that boat, and for starters, checking out the other side of this island.

Beyond the boat, a floating veil of mist rolls in like billows of steam from a tremendous boiling kettle. I am no longer able to see the large vessel from which the skiff was launched.

The atmosphere of the island is as such, inviting one moment, rejecting the next. Father calls it a gentle beast, with characteristics and charm like the women he has known. My glance shifts, falling upon the shoreline curve where a jetty, composed of rocks chiseled and stacked by nature, projects like the nose of a dolphin and the forest begins. This is as far as my eyes pan.

"Thank you for cutting your hair." For a moment his eyes wash over me, then his gaze refocuses on the others who are struggling against the relentless current. "I know it pains you."

"Don't you mean shearing?" I huff. "I don't understand why I can't grow it long. I have awesome hair, or so I've been told." I smirk.

He shoots me a phony glare. "You've been told, huh? No cozying up to any of these girls. I don't want another batch begging to stay."

"I'm not a womanizer. Just good company." I shrug.

"No nighttime jaunts to the lagoon, either. And I mean it this time." Now his glare is authentic.

"Yeah, yeah. I know. Stay out of the lagoon. Out of the forest. Out of the lockers. Pretend to like my boring life."

He almost looks sympathetic. "One of these days you'll understand."

"What? Why I can't swim at night?"

"You're impossible sometimes, and the reason I ask you to cut your hair is to set a good example."

I let out a tired sigh. My hand runs over my smooth scalp, the shadow of bristles so short and sun-bleached, my reflection in a mirror looks hairless. If not for my deeply tanned skin, I would look anemic.

"Seems a waste. Six or more inches of attractive dark hair again and again swept into the trash." My jaw sets as our discussion continues. "I like my hair long. It makes me feel ..."

"Like a rock star?" He chuckles, scrubbing my head playfully. "In so many ways you remain such a child, yet you desire to be worldly. Do you admire them?"

"Not as you might be thinking." My eyes lower, landing upon my anxious toes digging through a mound of sand.

I swing my gaze across the vast horizon which is now shaded with purples and blues, fantasizing about the places beyond. The order of the world not contained within this globe of existence called Defiance Island. I know the temperament of the waywards, but wonder what others are like. Are they beautiful? Intelligent? Kindhearted? Do they possess the nature that can make a man want to tear another to shreds?

My Review:

I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Brook has lived on Defiance Island all of his life helping his Father with the waywards. Every year a different set of teenagers are sent to the island for rehabilitation. But this year his Father has put him in charge of the new group of kids. Brook is almost eighteen years old and he has never been off the island. He has never been to the other side of the island either. Brook has no idea what is beyond the wall. All he knows is what his Father has told him and now as Brook is almost an adult he is starting to question his life and who he really is. Is his Father being honest with him? Brook has no idea and no way of finding out. He tries to talk to his Father but all his Father will tell him is that he will have to figure out all the secrets of the island and who he is all on his own. He tells him that everything will be revealed to him in its due time.

This year's group of waywards is are different than any of the other teenagers that have been on the island before. They all claim that they shouldn't be there that they were all on their way to a juvie home. None of the waywards can remember how they got on the island. Brook starts to question everything that he has been taught by his Father after hearing all of the waywards discussing their situation and how they came to be on the island. Some of the waywards are starting to get their memory back little by little.

Brook meets Gabriella one of the waywards whom he starts to experience feelings for; feelings that he has never felt before. Brook is experiencing love for the first time is his life and when it hits him, it hits hard. Gabriella is a good person and student with all A's and tells Brook that she is there by mistake. Gabriella is also having feelings for Brook as well. They start spending as much time together as possible. Gabriella is finding out who and what Brook is almost at the same rate as he is. But Gabriella is not afraid of Brook she knows that he would never hurt her in anyway. The island is changing or is it? Something is after Brook, Gabriella and .the rest of the group that needs them to survive. Can Brook save them all before it is too late? Or will the island take them all?

Beautiful Experiment is one experience you won't want to miss. I felt as if I got to know all of the characters and I really and truly loved them all one and the same. Although you do get a lot of info on whom Brook is you are still left with a lot of unanswered questions. Like what is Brook, who is he? What was is it really like growing up an island and never leaving it? What is on the other side of the island? What do they do on the other side of the island?

If you like a good mystery with a lot of twist and turns that will leave you hanging then Beautiful Experiment is the book for you. I can't wait to read the next book of Island of Defiance Trilogy.

About The Author:

January Valentine is the pen name of Victoria Valentine, New York writer and indie book publisher. See Victoria's Author page: amazon.com/author/victoriavalentine I chose to use a pen name because Love Dreams was originally going to be a red hot erotic story, and I wanted to separate Victoria, who writes contemporary fiction and children's storybooks. Since my birth month is January, January Valentine seemed an appropriate pseudonym.

I also host a blogtalkradio show: Away With Words, every Wednesday evening at 7 PM EST where my co host Jill and I interview other writers and poets and discuss writing in general: blogtalkradio

I just released my first paranormal romance, Beautiful Experiment, book one of Island of Defiance Trilogy. I'm so not good about talking about myself, but I'll give it a shot.

I publish books for other authors through Water Forest Press, which I founded some years ago. In the past, I have written poetry and song lyrics, but now I focus on fiction. I've created multiple websites and blogs that I don't have time to manage very well.

My desire to be in a rock band brought me into a recording studio ... where my lyrics sprang to life with the help of a local alternative rock band. Together, we produced a CD.

I enjoy designing book covers and youtube videos. In summer, I enjoy hiking and swimming. I love all kinds of music. Watching horror flicks and Tyler Perry movies are my escape from reality.

I have an addiction to engraved pens that I buy to accompany each of my books. My office is filled with paperbacks and swag.

A bit about my books:

Love Dreams (Romantic Drama) is a story about a handicapped young man who secretly falls hopelessly (and helplessly) in love with a young woman who hides herself, and her past, beneath a grim but beautiful exterior. This gentle romance builds into a powerful "reality".

Sweet Dreams is a novel about a serial killer who is on the loose, working his way up the east coast. Readers get a glimpse into the killer's mind, as well as the hero's.

Head Over Wheels, (New Adult Romance/Drama) focuses on Jewelia, whose lifelong dream of becoming part of the NYPD is derailed by hot medical student, Indigo.

Beautiful Experiment details above.

I also have an online store.

Night Stocker
By Anlyn Hansell
The Misadventures of Meghan Foster Part One (The Balance)
Paranormal Romantic Comedy
Publication Date: January 25, 2013
Length: 265 pages

Amazon

Synopsis:

My name is Meghan Foster and I'm going to save you from yourself.

That is, if a certain someone doesn't stop me...

Don't let the pretty face fool you. I am a product of a seriously troubled past, but I'm a resilient little bugger. I'm a night shift stock replenishing machine and if by chance, you don't think that sounds too exciting? You are sorely mistaken, my friend. This is my life. I can't explain it. I won't even attempt to try.

I do have certain powers of persuasion that I am more than willing to use, especially if aforementioned 'certain someone' doesn't interfere.

His name is Lance and he is by far the most delicious creature I've ever laid eyes on. I have no idea who he is or what he wants with me, but I guess I'm about to find out the hard way...

Who says stocking shelves is boring?

Excerpt:

Later I'm sitting on the dock, a stupid grin on my face. Carly and Herb are locked in a passionate embrace next to the dumpster, he's licking her face. Holy crap, Herb…tone it down! He's just so overenthusiastic, and quite frankly? She doesn't seem to mind.

"Wrong."

"What's wrong? He thinks about her all the time. I think it's sweet." I refuse to look at Lance as he crouches next to me.

"Does she ever think about him?" That one had me thinking.

No, not exactly.

"He has a girlfriend," Lance states in a low voice.

"No, he doesn't," I reply, shaking my head with confidence.

"Yes he does. Oh! And did I forget to mention his girlfriend is pregnant?"

I bite my lip. Lance doesn't lie.

"He never talks about her. Hell, he never even thinks about her. He only ever thinks about Carly! I swear…" I whisper uncertainly.

"That's because he's a selfish bastard. And now…my misguided little matchmaker…you are officially…a home-wrecker. Good going, ass."

Suddenly Carly pulls from his embrace, smacking Herb across his face with a resounding Crack! She storms away, leaving a very confused Herb holding the side of his face.

"That'll leave a mark…"

I roll my eyes at Lance's whispered words.

I'm biting my nails. I just wanted to do was something nice tonight. Maybe something to counteract my stunt with Monica… I just wanted to feel good about myself. Now I feel like shit.

I'm being hauled up by my arm pits. "Come on." I can hear Lance's voice as I'm set on my feet, and none too gently, I might add.

"Am I in trouble?" I can't wipe the sheepish look from my face.

"Are you ever not in trouble?" He's nudging me toward the door to the warehouse.

My feet step reluctantly. "Are you going to punish me?"

"Maybe. Come on." Another nudge.

"I respectfully decline."

"You don't get a choice."

And with that, we are standing in the "Break Room of Doom" as I like to call it now. I hope he doesn't set me on fire. I hate it when he sets me on fire…

Author Interview:

The Avid Reader: What inspired you to write Night Stocker?

Anlyn Hansell: A trip to Walmart at 11:30 at night was the inspiration for Night Stocker. I don't typically shop so late but I realized I ran out of coffee and anyone that knows me knows I cannot function on less than a pot in the morning. It's like a whole other world at night - empty except for the occasional stocker. I turned a corner and there were three employees cracking up about some unknown joke. They were all silent as I walked by, picked up my coffee and walked out of the aisle. As I walked to the front I could hear them laughing again and it made me wonder just what the heck goes on there at night. By the time I was home, I had already mapped out the entire plot of the book. I was going to entitle it "The Devil Came Down to Walmart" but I didn't think they would be too pleased about that…

The Avid Reader: When or at what age did you know you wanted to be a writer?

Anlyn Hansell: I remember taking a creative writing course in High School. I wrote some story about Stella, a biker chick magically transformed for some biker ball - some strange twist on Cinderella. I know it was a comedy, I really wish I would have kept it. I would love to read it now. My writing tendencies lay dormant for the next 10 years. I just found a notebook with the first few chapters of a fairly cheesy historical romance I started writing in my twenties. Needless to say, I will not be continuing that book.

The Avid Reader: What is the earliest age you remember reading your first book?

Anlyn Hansell: I remember becoming a Judy Blume and Sweet Valley High fan late in grade school. It of course gave me an unrealistic expectation of what boys were actually like. Needless to say…I was a bit disappointed when I actually started dating real boys.

The Avid Reader: What genre of books do you enjoy reading?

Anlyn Hansell: I like romance, actually I love anything humorous so I guess romantic comedy would be my genre of choice. I also like horror and suspense.

The Avid Reader: What is your favorite book?

Anlyn Hansell: Intensity by Dean Koontz. That book…Oh! I was up ALL night reading that. Best book ever.

The Avid Reader: You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?

Anlyn Hansell: I have to go with the classics here - definitely Jane Austen. Are you kidding? Anyone who can create a timeless character like Mr. Darcy deserves some major props. Authors still imitate her work, write sequels, twist the story and make it their own. Mr. Darcy is and will forever remain my one and only 'book boyfriend'.

The Avid Reader: If you could travel back in time here on earth to any place or time. Where would you go and why?

Anlyn Hansell: Probably the Civil War era. I only live twenty minutes from Gettysburg now - I used to live in an old civil war era warehouse that was converted into apartments right in downtown Gettysburg for about two years. That era is so inspiring; it has everything needed for a really good romantic suspense novel.

The Avid Reader: When writing a book do you find that writing comes easy for you or is it a difficult task?

Anlyn Hansell: Easy. Apparently, since I wrote 6 books in a two year time frame. I was so incredibly inspired and the words just seemed to flow for a while there.

The Avid Reader: Do you have any little fuzzy friends? Like a dog or a cat? Or any pets?

Anlyn Hansell: No fuzzy pets. Just a couple of fish, that's about all I can handle.

The Avid Reader: What is your "to die for", favorite food/foods to eat?

Anlyn Hansell: Fortunately for me, and my waistline, my favorite foods can only be found in the greater metropolitan Detroit area - my hometown. I live in the middle of Pennsylvania now and there isn't a single Coney Island around to tempt me. Chili fries, chili dogs - pretty much anything with chili on it. I would weigh 500 lbs. if I still lived in the "D". Big Boy Slim Jims too, again only found in Detroit. Ham and cheese squashed in a bun with two sides of tartar sauce. That's right. I said tartar sauce. Don't knock it 'til you try it.

The Avid Reader: Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?

Anlyn Hansell: Write for you. Be original. I read so much more than I write and honestly I feel like I read the same plot over and over again. I feel like it's copy-cat mania out there in the writing world and to be honest? The copy-cats can't be doing all that bad since their novels are near the top of the 'New and Popular' list on Amazon. Good for them. I just shuffle past those and look for a blurb that has anything other than "alpha male bazillionaire meets shy, insecure, sexually modest female for stalker-like relationship." I write the stuff I would like to read. Hopefully there are others out there that share my personality and get my goofy sense of humor.

Author Bio:

Night Stocker Author photo Authorpicture.jpg

Anlyn Hansell is a 40-something wife and mother of one residing in a small town in South-Central PA. She has a BS in Distribution, a Masters in Business and an overactive imagination to boot. Writing credits previously included all manner of extremely boring ISO documentation, a published editorial on core sand in a foundry magazine and a recurring article in her company newsletter. Not much chance for creative writing there! She began her writing career two years ago, and in that time, has completed seven full length novels. The first four novels centered around romance, but she quickly began including a mystery element to keep the pages turning. She enjoys cooking and baking and of course, indulging in the products of those pursuits. She not only loves to write, she is compelled to do so. Every morning, starting at around 3:30 am, you can find her in her living room tapping away in the dark. It truly is the best time to write! She is currently working on yet another endeavor with the sole purpose of keeping her readers up well into the night.
